Hello fellow stampers! It's Beverly here starting the favorites thread for the week ending today, August 10, 2019.
This has been a busy and exciting week on Splitcoaststampers with the Dare to Get Dirty (DTGD) challenges for the Fan Club Members. Thanks to the many members who participated in this great event. Can you believe that there are 128+ pages of 1500+ cards that have been uploaded to the DTGD gallery? What awesome cards that were made by the Fan Club Members! There are many benefits to being a Fan Club Member. If you are not a Fan Club Member and would like to join, check out all the benefits HERE.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery this week, Sunday, August 4 through Saturday, August 10, 2019. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Do you have a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
These are the dedicated favorites team members who are on the job delivering notifications and smiles this week:
Amy (Kalla Walla), Angie (ohmypaper!), Carla (Covington Crafter), Janine (Jay_Bee), Linda (bubblesx4), Nancy (nwilliams6), and me (guneauxdesigns).
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you. Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directlyinto the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker’sSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week. So many beauties in the gallery this week. DTGD has been so much fun....thanks to all who participated and are still finishing up the challenges. Remember that you have until Friday Aug 16th to upload ;)
Bev, thanks for starting the Favorites thread this week. There were a lot of beauties that I saw this week and probably many more that I missed. I apologize to the fabulous notification team, because this list is long!
THANK YOU, BEV for favoriting my card, "You Were Made To Shine!" AND THANK YOU for letting me know!!! Double duty!!! ;) You're ending my Saturday on a HIGH NOTE!!! ;) BIG INKY HUGS DEAR FRIEND!!! I SO MISS YOU in the galleries & am praying for you!!! ;)<3
Thank you Bev for getting us started! Wow, what a week! The gallery is full of fabulous. I think I'll be posting a few lists. The older cards are the samples for DTGD. The DD and DD Alumni have been busy for a month getting ready.
Thanks for the thread Bev! I need to spend more time in the gallery as there have been so many fabulous entries for DTGD but here are my faves from my own challenge - it was tempting to just list them all but I resisted that temptation and whittled it down.
Always appreciated is the time given by the notifying team, and by each one who takes time to list one, several or more of the standout cards they spotted, and spreads the warm fuzzies.
A big thanks to Bev and Joanne for including cards of mine in their favorites list. Also an even bigger thanks to all the challenge makers and commenters. You did a fantastic job! Dare to Get Dirty was SO much fun. Already can’t wait for next year
Thank you Bev for starting the favorites thread this week. Thank you to the terrific favorites team for sending the happy mail to the wonderful card designers on this tread. We really appreciate you volunteering your time to notify especially this week with some incredibly long lists from the DGTGD galleries.
Thank you Polly, Amy x2, Carla x2, & Dagmar for adding my cards to your favorites. I really appreciate being on your incredible lists.
I am having some anxiety because there were so many beautiful cards the past two weeks with the regular challenges and DTGD - I know that I missed some amazing creations! I am telling myself it is ok, but still I have this urge to go out there and look more.
Here is part of my list - will have to be in several posts so I don't lose them. This is the early DTGD cards - mostly cards made as samples for the challenges - I will post more DTGD cards in a bit.

Apologies to my fellow notifiers for the length of my lists and apologies to all if I have included a card that I had on my list last week. Having spent so much time in the galleries my lists have grown but I don't want to miss any. There are still a few pages to look through so I may find more
Just want to say Thank you Susie for mentioning my Jazzy birthday card and for Bev for letting me know...so DID make my day...HUGS
