Default De-Stash Giveaway Boxes for New Stampers

Hello crafters!

As a Dirty Dozen Alumni from 2014 giving back to the community that gave me a start is important to me. I need to de-stash my craft room and would love to give some beginning stampers a box of goodies. All stamp sets are in storage envelopes and labeled (some are new and some gently used). I will place any inks, powders, glitter, etc., in a plastic zip lock bag. Boxes will contain a bit of everything. If you are interested in receiving a box, please send me a private message here on Splitcoaststampers with your name and address. I will respond and let you know when your box has shipped so you'll have an idea of timing.

Default Thank You

Thank you for all the sweet notes -- it's my pleasure to give back to the community I love. I have three (3) boxes to ready and get mailed. Believe me it's as much a blessing to me as it is a gift to others.

Big hugs!

Thank you, Bev!

It helps me and it gives others the chance to enjoy and learn a hobby. We all know how expensive stamps/dies and supplies have become. I did a series of cards that are on gallery showing how to create a card using nothing more than a $10 coloring book, scissors and basic dies. I did it because I wanted ladies to know that you don't have to chase product to make a lovely card. For some it's just to much - it would be a shame not to participate because you feel you can't purchase the supplies.

Most of us have a lot more than we need (if we're honest). This helps me and blesses others.

Thank you for the sweet note!

Hi Suzie,

I would love to see the cards you made with a coloring book- and how you made them. Could you share a link to the gallery?

Thank you!

Default Coloring Book Series

Hi Linda! (Wild Cow)

The easiest way to see the cards is to go to my Splitcoaststampers gallery and go to page 2 You'll see a card at the top of the page called, In the Garden. Then, scroll toward the bottom of the page and you'll see three cards that are titled, Coloring Book Series.

1. In the Garden by PaperPunchScissors - at Splitcoaststampers

2. CT0518 Coloring Book Series III by PaperPunchScissors - at Splitcoaststampers

3. CT0518 Coloring Book Series II by PaperPunchScissors - at Splitcoaststampers

4. CT0518 Coloring Book Series by PaperPunchScissors - at Splitcoaststampers

I did a lot of fussy cutting and did use some dies I had for the foundation panels. But that's a choice, you don't have to do that. The posts are meant to show ladies that cards can be made with nothing more than a coloring book, scissors, adhesives, and inexpensive colored pencils

Enjoy

If you're interested in ideas for colouring books, as well as Susie's cards we have a gallery here: Coloring Book Creations. This only includes cards that people have actively uploaded to that gallery, rather than the default member gallery, so it's not comprehensive.
Ky, one of the mixed media challenge hostesses, did a great tutorial for the Inkling with several ideas of how to use colouring book pages.
You can find that here : Coloring Book Creations Tutorial - Splitcoaststampers

I always love seeing articles and tutorials on how to use more of our supplies in different ways, in order to take full advantage of what we already have. There are so many products out there that it can be overwhelming for beginners. I made do without a die cut machine for years and years because the machine and dies seemed so expensive.

So generous of you!! Love that you are giving back to the SCS site to help out new crafters!!!

I have taken many of my supplies to a women's shelter or craft room at a recovery centre. I recently discovered I can drop things off at a local Ronald McDonald house for families with a child receiving treatment at our Children's Hospital.

Default USPS Tracking Numbers

Hi Everyone!

Just a note to let you know your boxes are on their way and you should find a PM with your tracking number. They are USPS Priority medium size boxes.

I have one more box ready to go - any takers?

I am collecting stamping supplies for South Carolina Juvenile Justice System. Originally I donated finished cards to them. Then they asked if they could make cards. They do not have funding for this so I've been trying to find sources to donate to them. The teachers are using card making for rewards for their clients when they complete assignments. Clients can also earn cards by completing homework and working on their behavior and action plan for change in small groups. Clients can earn making cards for family members as well. The facility has begun communication with the families and community. Your consideration would be a blessing.

Default Supplies for South Carolina Juvenile Justice System

Dear Bensarmom,

I'd be happy to help with stamping supplies for the South Carolina Juvenile Justice System. I have one box ready to go, but let me put several more together. I assume these are teenagers - yes? Do you know the age group?

I will also send finished cards as an extra incentive to modify behavior. As a new South Carolinian it's my honor to help.

Let me know where you'd like me to send the box. You can send me a PM here on Splitcoaststampers.

Default New De-Stash Boxes

Hi everyone!

All the de-stashes boxes from my first round have been delivered. You all blessed my heart with your responses. I will continue to pack crafty boxes and let you know when they are ready to go. As before, once you see that boxes are available just PM me here on SCS that you'd like one.

I would like these boxes to go to SCS members who are beginning their creative journey or have a need, so if you have friends here on SCS, please let them know. I want everyone to be able to enjoy this wonderful hobby.
