Hunkydory Little Books

A friend of mine buys stamping and cardmaking cards that come from the UK and I notice products by Hunkydory that are called Little Books. The photos shown of the book looks like it consists of printed papers but they never show the inside pages.

Is anyone familiar with these? Are they just printed papers, similar to scrapbook patterned paper, or are they cut-outs etc? Is it a thinner paper, or thicker like lightweight card stock? I keep seeing them in the magazine pages and it's kind of driving me nuts, trying to figure out what they're like and what they're used for.

I did a search and found them on Create and Craft, looks like they come in different sizes, 5x5, A6, etc and are 55lbs. They look more like images to cut out and use rather than paper with a repeated pattern.

Thanks for the link. I just wish they would show some of the papers inside so I can see what they look like. For instance, are they printed images on white background, to be cut out? Or are they scenes etc, that can be used as a background or fussy cut?

I've seen them on Create & Craft. I think they're cardstock, and they can be used either as is or cut apart. I'm not 100% sure, though. Maybe there are videos on YouTube that show the inside pages too.

I'm wondering if it's heavy weight or thin paper but just can't tell, even from the photos of finished cards. I've gotten paper pads or collections that were so thin that I had to adhere to card stock before cutting them. I had been hoping to use them with the group of Seniors that I volunteer for at the local senior center but if they're too thin, then that probably won't work for them.
Too bad they don't sell them anywhere in the US near me. Don't know if they offer them in the US at all, actually.

thanks for the link. I did see the card samples, but still can't tell if they're a heavier weight paper or really thin. I was hoping that someone on this forum may have seen or used the actual product. They seem to be popular in the UK and I know that Hunkydory is big with many cardmakers over there.

Wow, thanks! I converted the 150 gsm into equivalent weight in lbs and it looks like it's 100 lb card stock. That helps me visualize it.

I just remembered that I have a card kit made by Hunky Dory, and the card stock is a very nice weight. The quality is excellent too.

You can buy those Hunkydory little books at Paperwishes.com. If your American, it might be easier to purchase from American store.

The site I linked to says it's 55 lbs.

I also have a card kit by Hunkydory but didn't know if the Little Books have papers that are a similar weight. The kit by Hunkydory that I have has really nice, heavy-weight papers.

Yikes! Now I'm really confused! 100 lb paper would be nice heavy card stock but 55 lb would be thin card stock. Hmmm, maybe I need to double check the conversion measurements on line again.
