Scrappin' Challenge 2019Can you believe this is our 11th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2018 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2019! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2019! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends. Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2019 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc19jul"

Hey July Scrappers! Hope all is good. I haven't scrapped in over a month, life has thrown some chaos and situations in that have just prevented time.
Unfortunately, we've had a sad family situation, my Step Father was killed in a car accident. With my Mom's health (and dementia) we had to find a care facility for her quickly for her to stay. So many details and difficulties with all of this, it's been rough
I hope to have time later this month to play along with the Scrap Fireworks

Such horrible sadness for you, Lela! I pray all this difficult time will show some relief for you and the family soon. Saying prayers for your comfort and aid to get through this. Know my loving thoughts are with you.

I forgot to look for this challenge after the first couple of days of the month...
I will set my goal at 15 - just because that is what I normally have it. Who knows I may be able to make it one month!!
Hugs, Lela! I am so sorry! Sending up prayers for you, too.

Thanks for the LUV Ladies! This has been a tough one

Lela,
So very sorry to hear of the tragic loss of your family member and combined difficulty of placing a loved one in a care facility. Two very difficult situations being dealt with at once. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hugs to you from Missouri.
Wow SHARON...I just got a chance to take a look and love all your challenges! I will join in as I get more time, hopefully, later this week to get some pages done. This will be a fun way to get my pages done this month. Thanks for the inspiration!
Quick question: can anyone else see my signature? It should have my name and yearly goal plus links to my blog and my SCS gallery. I can see everyone else's but not my own. I checked on my dashboard and it should be showing up, so just wondering if this is a new thing at SCS (not being able to see your own siggy) or if I'm "special!"
(((Lela))) sending love and hugs to you and your family. Such a tough time for you all. Take care jx

Me and you both Sharon....I have made a lot of panels this past week and am starting to get an urge to scrap. Unfortunately I won’t be able to scrap on the weekend as we have the poppets. Soon we are heading into the city for an early dinner and to watch our beloved footy team....I’m soaking the sunshine up out on our deck whilst I can.
Happy Friday and weekend everyone.

Not sure I will scrap much this weekend, however, it is likely the bug will insist since I can't go for long without doing at least a little something!
Hope all of my scrappy friends will enjoy your weekend.

Hoping to get the sketch challenge from VSBN done today (adapted to fulfill my need to scrap billions of photos on each layout, of course), so I can move on to the bonus challenge!

Nancy I saw your scrapbooking...awesome. It is so lovely to see new faces on this thread. I may even get inspired again myself. Love the ladies on here.

Here are three more I completed. I'm on a roll but it will screech to a halt when I leave on vacation on Friday, so I'm trying to get as many done before that as I can!
Nancy, I am so glad you have joined us! I love your outlook on scrapping, just what makes you happy. I get bogged down trying to do year by year. My trip albums do make me happy! And one VSBN we did an alphabet book. I loved that! I did a Grandma’s Alphabet about my grandchildren. Just pulled phots out of them, not in order or anything. I am thinking of doing another alphabet one of them older now!
Anyway I am excited to see you here! You already are providing us with new inspiration, with your scrap layouts!
Ok I’m late getting started this month, but did 9 pages today...so got good use out of a rare Friday off work! Loved all those challenges and these were all posted in the different challenge threads as well. All pages from my 2009 album in progress.
Sharon I did a mini page today and have the back side of it half done...I was distracted...by cooking dinner lol. I’m so enjoying scrapping again..been a long drought.

Hi Jayne! Since Amy has done all of the VSBN Scrap Fireworks challenges including Bonus1, watch for Bonus2 coming soon!
Hope everyone is scrapping this weekend! I have a luncheon today, then will get to scrapping!
Happy Saturday! I'm ready for some VSBN Scrapping! TERRIFIC Challenges Sharon, I think I've figured out ideas for all of them, I'm off to start working on them
Of course, the hottest day of the year and our A/C quits working, UGH! It's 78 in here already. My DH has set up a couple fans that's making it bearable so far ... scrap on. I might have to take a mid-afternoon break and go pick up photos I ordered :o
