We travel a lot to archery tournaments for both of my boys. We drive to every tournament. There are so many things that we get to stop & see because we drive. On our last trip through AZ, we stopped to see The Painted Rock Petroglyph Site in Maricopa County. That sparked a discussion with my boys about how painting/decorating rocks is still a "thing." In Australia we have a very famous rock, Uluru / Ayers Rock. It is huge and is described as a sandstone monolith, one of the largest in the world and stands in the middle of Australia in the desert. The rock changes color depending on the time of day and the season but is best known for its deep rich reds and purples.
My challenge to you is to use the colors:

I just Love Billy Joel’s music! I’ve loved it since the 70’s and finally got to see him in concert a few months ago. He rocks hard for a Senior Citizen! Anyway, enough about me and Billy.
My challenge to you is to create a card using the oldie-but-goodie Rock & Roll technique. This is where you ink up a solid image stamp with a light colored ink and then roll the edges of the image in a darker colored ink. This creates a cool two-toned image.

My challenge is a pretty simple one. Let's think of Rock, Paper Scissors and then apply that to a Sketch challenge. Rocks are the circles on the sketch. Of course you need to use some paper. And a bonus if you use something you have to cut with scissors.

Hi Everyone. I'm so happy to be your hostess for the next challenge. My challenge today is to make a fossil stone background. It's really a very easy technique, and on the plus side, you get two pieces to work with.
If you do not have a report cover, you can substitute any of these: 2 transparency sheets
cut open a ziplock type bag
cut open a plastic grocery bag (this is my favorite).
I also like to spritz the ink very lightly with water.
You are not limited to glossy card stock.
The samples below are glossy card stock, regular white card stock, and photo paper. Although the same inks were used for all three, each reacts differently to the ink and results in a completely unique look.

(I know; it's hard to believe, but some of you aren't Elvis fans so I'll give you one idea.) Pink and Black were Elvis' favorite colors so you could use that color scheme on your card.
