Challenge title:Chalk it up to a new experience

Who remembers the first time you saw chalks? I remember seeing some SU chalks what has to be almost 15 years ago. I just had to buy them. I did try to use them several times, but they weren't my go to for coloring and for several years they sat in my closet un-used. Recently I found a new way to use them with gel plates and stencils to make a really cool monoprint. I have a tutorial on MY BLOG My challenge for you is to try this new technique. Using chalk, stencils, white acrylic paint and gel plate.
If you don't have a gel plate, you can still play along just use chalks and a stencil.(But seriously you need to go buy one. They are so much fun to play with.)
If you don't have chalks you can still play along just use a stencil.
If you don't have a stencil, you can make a stencil using dies or punches.
If you don't have any of the supplies, I still want you to play along. Just make a mixed media project and have fun.
Use the key word MIX335 when posting your project.
Marilyn thanks for options on the challenge for those of us who don't have gel plates - I tend to shy away from mixed media but since I've had my chalks out for several bg's lately, I decided to give this a try!
Thanks for the challenge MariLynn. I will be playing...but may be late to the party. Happy weekend
