Happy Monday to you all. I thought we'd say goodbye to June with a floral tribute and try the recent Floral Tag Card tutorial.
Of course, you're not restricted to using flowers; I've made a sample with leaves, and I thought that snowflakes or shells would also make great versions.
The key design element that I take from Becky's tutorial is that the card base is stamped only on the upper part, and the tag is stamped on the lower part so that it carries on and echoes the design on the card base. This lends itself to a fairly clean design, for all CAS aficionados.
I think you probably do need to pop the tag up on foam tape or dimensionals, but if you don't want yet more dimension from a ribbon bow, you could use twine, cord or even a die-cut bow. I used a die-cut bow on my Autumn Blessings.

To upload to the Floral Tag card gallery, choose Technique Spotlight from the first dropdown menu, and Floral Tag Card from the second dropdown.

If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

LOL - Almost missed my doctor's appt this morning cause I got involved with crafting - Don't you just hate when that happens . . . . then found a way to salvage my mucked up card when I got back home so . . . .

The more I look at all these tag cards, my mind went ding*ding*ding - beside planning a tag from the beginning, what a great way to possibly save a CAS card (especially single layer) that ends up with a blemish or bobble mid card. Thanks for the inspiration, Sabrina!
