Trying to clean up my home office/craft room. We are hosting 2 youth ministers who are traveling throughout the diocese, and my home has to be presentable by Saturday night. (My room becomes a guest room)
The upside is that I should be set for VSN, because my table chaos will be gone! LOL

OOOO Excited to play in the Summer VSN....my birthstone is the pearl or the alexandrite. (just had my birthday on the 4th.....guess I'm done celebrating now :(..OK I did for about a week :rolleyes...it's a light purple stone. I don't have one but I did get a pearl ring for my 25th birthday...still have it (a few years later...cough cough...) ;)
Am really looking forward to this VSN. I am an old hippie rock and roller at heart so this challenge may be perfect for me!
I am finally settling in to my new home and crafting space and it is nice to be able to find things again. By the time this rolls around I should be even more organized. Hopefully.

Are you going to be "Sleepy in Redmond" now Joanne? Congrats on your move. Did you update your address in the Teapotter group?

Hi Jacqueline! Seattle is just about 8 miles from here. Close enough
I changed my address on the main info part of SCS, will have to check on the directory also. I need to check back in on the Teapotters group, I've missed you all.

The VSNKIDS challenge will be the first challenge on FRIDAY, not Saturday. As always, you do not have to do it live, but we know many of you enjoy doing the projects with your kids or grandkids. The hostess for that challenge is unavailable Saturday, but her idea is too much fun to skip!
So, we will start at 5 pm Eastern US time on Friday July 5 with the kids challenge. See you there!

Ooh I hope that we are painting rocks lol as I’ve just bought a bag so that I can paint some with our poppets as we went hunting for rocks this end a few weeks ago. Such fun.

My birthstone (October) is the Opal and Tourmaline (which is a beautiful greenish-blue color). Funny... I remember from my childhood that my birthstone was a soft pink. Hmmmmmmm....

I had that also (my birthday is October). The pink stone is called Rose Ziricon.

We just watched that again this past weekend! Wish that I had seen Queen back in the day but I just don't remember them ever coming to our area. They must have and I missed it somehow. I think Freddie Mercury had one of the most beautiful voices of our generation.

I still have not seen "Bohemian Rhapsody" I agree that Freddie Mercury was a seriously talented musician. So many current stars only sound good because of serious sound editing! LOL
Can you believe our Rock Star VSN is just ONE WEEK AWAY??!!??
WooHoo!

I just posted TWO sneak peaks! This is one of the perks of your Fan Club membership. You get a head start on two challenges, but do NOT post them in your gallery or chat about them before the challenges go live next week!!
Not sure how to find them? Click on the word Forum at the top, right side of this page. Fan Club goodies are the first threads listed. If you don't see it, you are not a Fan Club member (or your subscription expired) which is very very sad.
Moral of the story: Join the Fan Club. ;)

Of course a week before VSN I finally got an idea! LOL! Oh well, maybe my brain will work better for the next one. I'm so excited to check out the sneak peaks!

Ha, ha, ha not so hard to pick. No we haven't been yet, we are planning to take the van across the end of May 2020
The following year we will probably do a really long trip up to Darwin the across to Broom and down the West Coast. We want to do that in spring so that we see the wild flowers.
It's cold here by my standards but everyone else keeps saying it is't, down to about 10° at night and between 19° - 23° during the day. I usually manage to sneek the heating on in the morning because I'm first up
