Hi there, ColorLovers! It is my pleasure to be your hostess this week! As the northern hemisphere heads into summer it's definitely warming up. We have some cooling colors for you, but first let's celebrate our favorite from last week.
Barbara said, "This is an allegory, and what a creative and inspiring one. The butterfly emerging from the woman, via the zipper, all the beautiful colors, the sparkle against the dark "sky." So inspiring both as a card and as a message of love and life!"
Congratulations, Susan! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out here.
And now, back to our challenge. This week's colors are: Pineapple Punch, Basic Gray and Coastal Cabana:
Did you know that you are always welcome to use the Neutral family from the SU color palette in addition to the challenge colors? You can find those colors here.
The dessert option this week is to use anything round.

I have combined them with the Ink Pad Background from the Technique Challenge. I ended up with an extra colour where the Coastal Cabana and Pineapple Punch overlapped.

Hello all,
Here is my color challenge version of my 'happy summer and happy 4th of july' cards I made for friends. those were colored with more traditional Americana colors, but I loved this color combo and thought it worked good as an alternative. Hope you enjoy! Teresa
