Hi and welcome to the Inspiraton Challenge! Today's site is Brown Paper Bag by Sara Barnes. Sara showcases illustration in many forms by various artists. If a photo strikes your fancy click the link and it will open up an article with many samples of illustration by the artist. This is a fascinating blog and I found myself perusing many samples by an array of artists. Remember do NOT create an exact copy of the art but instead be inspired and make it your own! I hope you have fun and I can't wait to see what you create!
Please be advised, apparently SCS is having a problem w/ the gallery sorting today so not all of the cards (even w/ the correct keywords) are going into the IC705 gallery. PLEASE add a link to your card in this thread so we'll be able to find it. Adding the keyword to the front of your card title can also help us find your card more easily.
If you don't care to browse the entire site or if you can't open the site, I have downloaded a lovely group of photos for your inspiration! Click on the images below to view them larger and to get their links on SCS.
**Please note: If you are unable to view the Inspiration Site in your country, please use one of the pictures provided for you (thumbnails below). Sadly, we have no control over the sites' viewing areas. **
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining us on this inspiration journey.

NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE?
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.
Another site with so much to inspire, Angie. Be Amazing

I REALLY needed inspiration today having to make a sympathy card for the family of a young (mid 40's) woman who passed away yesterday. She & her husband are in my square dance club as are her parents . . . . I find it extremely difficult to make these cards for close friends.
Thanks Angie for the advisory heads up in red - I wondered why my card wasn't showing up in the gallery and double checked (more than a few times) to see what I'd done wrong . . . .

One of my favorite inspiration sites! Thank you so much, Angie. Will revisit many times. I thought I was going easy on myself today but CAS is not always CAS. IC705 Blue Spotted Kitty
hey anyone who might be able to let me know why my card is not appearing in the IC705 gallery. I've edited it twice to make sure I had IC705. And even put it in my title. It's still now displaying.
Thanks in advance for any solution or ideas! Again a fantastic IC site this week.

sometimes it just happens, so it does help us if you can put the key word in your title that people can find the uploads going to the home page to see what all has made it into the gallery today. ( Susan, its not you)
Susan,
Mine isn’t showing either. I went back and read Angie’s note in red and she said site is having problems. I hurriedly read over it the first time and missed that part.
Hugs,
Carolyn

And what really helps the hostesses is linking your card to the challenge thread! We're eager to see how the challenges are interpreted and comment on your cards.
