challenge this week is to use Washi Tape: Make a card using at least 3 pieces of Washi Tape. Extra points to use 3 different designs of tape. Suggestions: *Cover any size piece of card stock completely with tape for a background. *Cover a piece of card stock with tape and die cut flowers, etc. *Make candles for birthday with tape *Use difference layouts/designs
If you don’t have any Washi tape, use this Tutorial on SCS to make Faux Washi tape.
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

Carolyn- great challenge, thanks! I went as far as to completely cover my background with washi tapes- adding fussy cut and colored flowers for my embellishments. For fun, I used paper colored with blue water color powder, and only partially cut out my daisy shape. Applied a water pen to the upper left hand large flower to get a more diffuse color- inspired by the flowers on our neighborhood walks. Here's Washi and Flowers

I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, catching up on some old challenges as well. I have used three different washi tape patterns.
My card is for an SCS friend who's birthday was missed in January and who's May 2019 Teapot Challenge was missed. The theme is "thinking of you" since her birthday was so many weeks ago, and I wanted her to know I was thinking about her on her birthday and after as it became more and more belated! In addition, this theme was an option for her Teapot Challenge as well!
