It's the last Tuesday of the month, so it's Tickle a Teapotter time again and this month we are delighted to have
Sandy (Stampingwriter) as our guest hostess.
Here, in her own words, is her challenge for us.
Many people have a specific animal that they love and “collect.” I’m not talking about cats and dogs (which most people have personal experience with and reason to love). Nope, I’m talking about animals the person may see rarely or have no experience with, but they just “have a thing” about it. For me, it’s koalas, which I think are adorable (and I hope Susie doesn’t tell me I’m all wrong about them). My brother had a girlfriend who collected anything that had an owl on it. I know people who love roosters, frogs, or giraffes…. So, for this challenge, show us that non-domestic animal that’s “special” to you.
CHALLENGE: Create a card using your favourite non-domestic animal EPEC: (extra points for extra cookies) If you collect any items with that animal on it, tell us about them.
DESTINATION STATION This week our destination is each other! Once a month, we send our cards to each other!
Check out THIS NEW THREAD in the TEApot Tuesday Extras Forum. If you are participating in the card exchange please go to this thread and follow the instructions. Make sure to sign up by bedtime on Saturday 1st of June, as I will do the draw the next morning.
Be sure to use KEYWORD MMTPT566 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card! Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.
And your little bird are so sweet! I was in Sandy's camp. I love koalas. I had one traditional teddybear, sent from Canada by my great-aunts, but after I got a little koala for Christmas been I was about 5, I requested several more ;-). I'll be along with my card once I get going today...never made it upstairs yesterday. I'd also like to find time to make a seahorse and a peacock, both also special to me, but I don't know how the day will pan out.
What a fabulous Teaparty Sandy, and you are right, Koalas are adorable! They might snore like a drunken sailor and are as high as kites on eucalyptus, sleep for 20 hours a day, but they are utterly adorable and make hearts smile.

What a fun challenge. I think my animal is a koala too. It has been since I was in 2nd grade and did a project on them. One of the rare times I was able to buy something from scholastic was a poster of the Koala. I have a stamp I haven't used yet. I hope I can play today but I have a lot happening. We shall see!
I think I guessed that Anne's would be a giraffe ;-).
Here's my koala. I'm still looking for my dream koala stamp. I saw one I loved in the gallery once, but the person who uploaded it didn't know the manufacturer. This one is pretty cute.
A favorite wild animal??? Ah geesh - too many!! I settled for the teddy bear. (They are cute when they are little).

I chose a Grizzly Bear for my favorite animal. I have been to Yellowstone National Park 3 times and my goal each time was to see a Grizzly. Finally, on my 3rd trip we saw one!! It was very far away (which was a good thing, I suppose) and totally oblivious to the crowds of people as it munched it's way up a hill. I was so excited I almost cried. I'm such a dork.
