Default Ideas for Xyron Machine--Laminate

I have the very original Xyron machine and a little bit left of the double-sided laminate and the laminate one side/adhesive other side cartridges. I really want to finish up those rolls and am looking for a card-making related use for them. Do you have any ideas?

Create a card with a pocket to hold a laminated bookmark.

Or .. . . . a laminated recipe card.

I know you specified using it for cards, but, frankly, almost 100% of my use has been for "Other". I have a heat laminator now and find that much more economical and effective.

I still have old Xyron lamination rolls to use up though. Recipe cards are my number one use. After that, I use it to seal labels for craft room containers (when I'm not using the Labelmaker) and seal planner divider pages. My frequently used reference sheets have gotten it too: cardstock cut outs for each of the most used card sizes (i.e. large sheet with an A-2 window cut out in the middle- used for layout planning), a sheet that lays out the various envelope sizes, a directions reminder for mounting/indexing bare rubber stamps, etc. Oh, and I have tent labels laminated that go out on the counter to remind Hubby on the days the garbage or recycling goes out to the street.

Default Not just for cards

This use falls under “other”: if you use deer
fencing you can make numbered laminate tags so when you put them away, next year you’ll know which numbers go where. You will save yourself time from rolling it all out then realizing “oh this is for the shorter area I need to cover”. Same thing with putting away winter/summer clothes in non see-thru bins. Make a list of what’s in a bin, assign a number or letter and make up tags.

I’m using a roll of double sided laminating in my 900 at the moment to make carriers for the stamps that I’m un mounting and putting into page ptotectorsadfm arcivesheetsuntil I ca decide whether or not I want to use dvd cases, or stay with the binders...works pretty good to help keep them in place.
