She is going to BEGIN showing us her release TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
This is awesome! Anyone figure out what she meant by the bits and pieces that weren't stamping for her day 2 sneak peek? Was it the watercoloring? Dies? Stencils? Inquiring minds want to know.
So glad the PTI crew is back in business. Betsy is a pro. I hope she does very well. Nichole too. Wish Nichole could design my craft room, if I had a craft room.
I placed my order yesterday and am hoping for speedy delivery so I can play a little next weekend. Shipping prices are reasonable and the site was easy to use.
Ordered yesterday morning. Got a shipping notice with tracking number last night. This morning tracking shows it's already at the post office and due for delivery Tuesday. FYI - I was order # 1065. Order completed 4 minutes after release.
Smooth ordering process and well organized web site. Congrats to Betsy on the new venture!!! So excited for her (and us)!!!

Congrats! I completed my order (#1112) at 10:05am; no shipping yet.
Wow this is fantastic. I think she actually took some of the lessons learned while at PTI with what NOT to do and designed a good system that actually works

My thoughts exactly. As her business grows I don't expect her to keep up with that kind of quick service but I bet it doesn't get to PTI levels of pre-release warnings that it will take quite a while to get yoru order. I really like how she planned it out, keeping the shop closed but the blog active then opening the store so people could get their account created and ready prior to the release. As far as I know it didn't crash, either, which is what always happened to me at PTI. So much so that I would just not buy at all.

I never figure out why they couldn’t get the website together. So many promises made and it never materialized. People put up with a lot because they liked the product but it got old.

There was never an issue with the website itself. The website crashed because the server that it was running on could never handle the load. Towards the end it got better and better but still during the Anniversary release it would still slow down.
In their defense, they did try to get the website re-designed like three or four times, spent 100's of thousands of dollars on development, and then when it came time to preview the site they would find that the new site did not do what it was supposed to do and the developer companies would just bail...
Probably the best thing would have been for them to stay on Yahoo.... the problem with that was 1) The ability to design certain things was limited and 2) Yahoo charges a percentage of every sale and for a while that would equate to 10's of thousands of dollars a month in revenue share for Yahoo...
The layered succulents are great. I followed the ink shading video and they turned out very cute. Like the two terrarium dies also. I had a question about one of the terrarium dies and Betsy answered it on the same day. Great quality, great service.
I LOVE the Succulents too, & the Terrarium Dies seem like NICE basic dies to have with the possibility of even more flowers coming! When the succulents are water colored with the Oxide Inks they look SO GOOD!;) I have yet to post mine, but it is coming. ;)
THANKS MARY! You got me going here, & I posted my card/s on my blog & in my gallery. I'm coming over to see yours now! Thanks for the extra push! I had it all ready to go..... ;) <3
Wow those are stunning. I wouldn’t have thought of the blue background. Love the color combo and the gold really works. Did you ink shade the base with oxide?
I am really excited for Betsy! I hope she starts selling card stock and pattern paper
