CC738 Don't Crush Granny with the Melons! (5-7-19)
HelloColor Challenge Fans! May is here! It's Tuesday and time for another color challenge. #738 on the charts for us.
Before we discuss this week's colors, let's take a look at Barbara's fave from last week. She chose this pretty Color Challenge in Alcohol Inks #1 card from Kandie aka Kemernow.
Barbara said:"Kandie made three cards using her alcohol ink background, and they are all wonderful; but I chose this one as my favorite. The colors and the composition catch the eye, and the black and white neutral elements create contrast. I love this card so much, I'm CASE-ing it for CC738!"
Congrats Kandie! The code to add the favorite badge to your Blog is located at the bottom of the post. We will also feature your card on our Color Challenge Pinterest board. See that here.
Since it's a new month we are welcoming new guest designers. Joining us for the month of April and bringing their artistic talents are Denise aka card crazy (Pam's fave from CC714 and Mary's fave from CC733), Pam aka bailmac (Barbara's fave from CC684 and Stef's fave from CC71, Paulette aka parknslide (Stef's fave from CC700).
Now onto this week's challenge. I have chosen Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green and Crushed Curry.
Please keep in mind, that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC738 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) We want to be able to find your cards!

for today's color challenge, I recycled a Seattle Chocolate's Tukwila Hazelnut wrapper- adding my sentiment on the lower edge of this wrapper. My stacked teacups are alongside this, and I added 2 punched pink heart shapes. Finished with a twisted yarn tie for my upper horizontal border. Here's Tukwila Teacups.

When I first saw the colours this week, I was a little daunted with all the bright colours. However, I think that I have managed to capture them successfully.
