Hello and Happy April Fool's Day! I'd like to try something clever to be a trickster, but I've got nothing! LOL
March was a great challenge month and I'm hoping you'll love April's just as much.
I posted this card on another site and got a great deal of comments and love, so I thought I'd share it here, as well. I recently got the new Glitz Glitter Gel from Therm-o-web and really wanted to play around with it. My daughter has requested that I make her some monogram thank you cards to give to her professors at college when the semester ends.
I made the card below by layering the glitter gel through a stencil and letting it dry. After it was thoroughly dry, I die cut the M out with my Altenew Alphabet die set. I think the touch of glitz added something really special to it. I die cut the "thanks" and placed it directly below.
While I didn't use my MISTI for this card front, I did use my new Cut-Align to line up the M and thanks on the paper. The very small measurements allowed me to perfectly place them. Here is my card:

Paper: Gina K Jelly Bean Green
Gel: Therm-o-web turquoise Glize Glitter Gel
Thanks die: Can't remember - laughing. I think it was spellbinders or Dare to be Art z
YOUR CHALLENGE: Create a Monogram card. Any way you like. I'm a clean and simple card maker, so mine has LOTS of white. You can use whatever colors you want. I did use my MISTI on this inside sentiment, as we all know how important that is when finishing off your card.
Historically, how many cards did you pitch before you used your MISTI? I pitched a LOT. You can have a die cut or stamped letter. Whatever you have available. I think most of us have either an alphabet stamp set or die set. Be creative! You can also use it for any occasion. Mine was a thank you card, but you can make an all occasion card or any one you pick.
Good luck and I hope you all enjoy making yours. I have always loved monogrammed cards and I really love how this one turned out.
Happy April!

Fun challenge! I recently purchased some of the Glitz Glitter Gel and will try to incorporate it into this challenge, along with my recent purchase of the Cut-Align when I attended a stamp/scrap show! I'm still trying to "learn" how to use that tool! Need to watch another video over and over to understand the how-to. I'm one who doesn't like to figure out measurements, but can see a definite advantage using the Cut-Align.
Happy creating everyone. I won’t be able to join in this month but will be following your creations when I can.
Have fun

Gorgeous card Sis Mysterious Lady !!
I don’t have large alpha letter dies but I do have smaller sized ones, so I’ll see what comes to mind . Good luck everyone!!
BEAUTIFUL CARD! LOVE the sparkle of the Glitter Gel. I think I tried to get some of this once & they were ALL OUT! LOL A VERY POPULAR ITEM! ;) I worked on some cards today for this challenge! I get so busy I forget to check here for challenges! LOL I'll post on Monday! ;)
I almost bought glitter paper at JoAnn's today...I looked and looked at it...and reminded myself...
I really don't like glitter.
Instead I bought 35 pieces of dp that was on sale for 10/$2...I use this paper for card classes that I offer free at the library in my little town...have 2 classes the end of April-beginning of May...
Happy with my purchase...and a reminder that I am not a glitter fan...

Oh no. I don’t think I have a Monogram set. I gave the one I had to a friend.
I don't have a monogram set either, I do have a letter image and had thought I would use that as the image on glitter paper...you could try that if you have any alphabet images and cut it with a circle or oval die...
Just a thought...
I'm going to use my MISTI today to make a multi-colored image for a VSN challenge and emboss the images with clear powder...in my head it works...will it work on paper?

I used the MISTI to position the monogram stamp and also used MISTI and magnet to secure the stencil to a scrap piece of watercolor paper then daubed the Glitz Glitter Gel over the secured stencil, let dry and used a butterfly punch.
If you celebrate Easter, I'd like to wish you a happy one! Thought I'd pop by before my busy weekend to say hello! I work for a catholic church, so this is a very active time of year for me. Tonight is our Holy Thursday dinner and I'm killing time in my office till 5:00.
Lots of love and candy to you this weekend!

MISTI Monday
I chose NOT to purchase purple chick Peeps today when I was out shopping...I may regret it but my body will not! Sugar is not my friend physically but oh mentally I love sugar!!!!
We don't celebrate calendar holidays here but my favorite cousin is here visiting so I asked her what she would like (we would make homemade pizza) and she said ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and corn...SO...she will cook it...I'll enjoy the day!
Please don't interpret not celebrating calendar holidays as not believing in religious events...in our mind they are 2 separate things, we believe, we don't celebrate but we don't mind those who chose different than us.
Enjoy your time and your job...always good to enjoy your job! You must very much be a "people" person...and good at it.

Happy Easter Misti Monday Lady and to all who do celebrate this holiday! I've been so busy making Easter cards for all my grandchildren and finally got them all mailed yesterday! Made 3 more today for the ladies I play Mahjong with. My Misti has been busy helping me get all those Easter cards done!

Back at you and to all the amazing lovely Sistahs here too!!
HAPPY EASTER ALL! I would have posted earlier, but wasn't sure it would be welcome in the thread---usually they want it to be all about the thread itself. So, HAPPY EASTER!!! Remembering what the Easter Season is all about! ;)
The challenge gave me an idea for my college age kids Easter Baskets. I still like to have fun with this but now I pick some kind of multi-purpose container that’s different every year that they can use in their places.
Here’s how I used the tags I made this year.
Hi All! This month got away from me. I had a couple birthdays over the weekend and yesterday, completely not thinking of online things. I missed posting the winner Sunday night.
Here's your winner: TLady!
What a gorgeous card submitted! I love ALL the cards! You guys really got creative with your monograms! I also loved the tags for Easter! Clever.
Thanks ladies for joining in! The next challenge will be posted on Monday, May 6th!
Love,
MISTI Monday!
