Today I am going to cheat a bit and revisit a card from my gallery last week (I hope that is ok!!) So many people seemed to like it, I thought it would be fun to challenge you to try it yourself.
In this card I created a sunrise using Distress Oxides (and a tag with Distress Inks), but you can use ANY inks you have on hand. I created a tutorial on how I made the card (I am still new to this process so please keep that in mind when you watch it haha!)
I looked up sunrise images online for inspiration to create my card. If you want to do that and vary yours a little, feel free! Just create a SUNRISE AND have fun doing it!

Hello, I made this card a few weeks ago, as my craft room is under renovation currently. Couldn't follow exact rules, but wanted to send Happy Easter greetings to you all. Hope you are all well and enjoy family and friends this week. ENJOY Teresa
Lyn, your card is amazing! Thanks for the tutorial! Hugz

I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up, as well. This is a sympathy card for an SCS cardmaking friend whose Mom passed away in late February.
My technique to create my sunrise background, used a bit of a lighter touch on my ink-blending. I wanted a soft effect rather than a bright and vivid effect. I used a mask on create the blending within my circle, which represented the entire sky rather than the sun itself.
