Happy New Year!! I hope you will join me again this year pulling out and giving love to those "forgotten" stamps, dies, embellishments and paper!
We love seeing what you create with your unused paper crafting supplies, so please add the keyword USEIT2019 to your gallery post, and if you have time, link here in this forum as well so we can admire your artwork...
Thanks for joining in with us and we are looking forward to seeing your artwork in 2019- hugs!!
Is there a specific area where a new challenge is posted on the supplies we are to use? Just curious.
Thanks
Hi Christy! This challenge is for you to use whatever supplies you have on hand that have not been used in a while (for ex: stamps that have not seen ink in a year or longer, paper that is in your stash for years, dies that you have not used in a while, etc.) or even brand new items that you may have bought and never used yet.
We do not post a specific challenge each month per se, but when you are using older stamps, dies, paper or even new (never before used) stuff, add the keyword USEIT2019 when you load your card or project to the gallery (and also post a link to this forum, if you can). This will allow us to see your creation and leave some "love".
We are thrilled that you found us and look forward to seeing your creations!
Used up a sentiment and a couple of flowers for this quick card today. Trying to use stuff that is already stamped and cut sitting on my desk again this year. I had hoped to finish that goal last year but alas the pile was larger than I anticipated so that is my goad again this year to use more of it up.
I think this will be a well used challenge this year. Here are a couple of photos showing a pet sympathy card. Two of these stamp sets haven't seen ink before and have been in my collection for several months or even a year.
Julie, Great to see this challenge again this year, I'm determined this year to use stash and not buy any new stamps until I've used the ones I have, that also goes for card and bling, so my first for this year.
Pulled out this vintage heart boxer shorts image from Red Hot Rubber - haven't used it in so many years I wasn't sure if I still had it. Made for a fun CAS card for my sweetie.
Happy new year everyone. Julie, sorry I haven't been on the thread for a while. I have been using my stash when I've been creating. How is your husband going? Hope all ok.
Happy creating everyone.

Finally using the candelabra die, had it for a year! I'm also using pre stamped/colored/embossed images and backgrounds from my stash. Here's my card Here's to Old and Dear Friends.
Happy New Year Julie...so glad you our hosting us again this year! Hope this finds you and your husband having some good days health wise...you are both in my prayers.
My daughter's baby girl shower card boasts mostly old stuff, including the patterned dsp, seam binding ribbon, the eyelet oval die, the pennant swag die, and the word sentiment die. Most of these items are at least two years old, but some even older.
Wow, so thrilled to see so many cards using your stash- great job, ladies!! Sorry to be away for so long- my hubby is doing as well as possible (thanks for all of the prayers and inquiries). He had another tumor in his bladder that was removed last week and will be undergoing chemo again for a few weeks (we will know more this Friday).
In the meantime I created a card for The Card Concept (and a few other online/SCS challenges) using a long, ago retired SU! butterfly image that was embossed and colored in my stash as well as a digi sentiment from Power Poppy (that was already printed and die cut in my stash). It helps to finally have a chance to combine and organize all of my "stuff"- lol!!
Hugs to you Julie. Praying for your hubby and you!
Here's another card, Life is a Beautiful Ride. Finally inking up the silhouette stamp and using a couple more pieces from my bg stash. My goal is to use at least one item from my stash for each card I create!
I am using these dies for the first time as well as the patterned paper. I have a ton of patterned paper, so one of my goals is to use it. I also plan to use my dies rather than adding to my collection.
