I spoke my thoughts in the hostess call-out and I'll add them here: I love winter! I love cold! I love snow!
My husband despises winter so I have a feeling we'll wind up snowbirds in the future. Our youngest is in 8th grade and Brian said the winter after she graduates high school, we're heading to Hilton Head for two weeks with my parents (they have a place there in the winter and they keep saying,"There's room for you!"). That's five years away so that should give you an idea of how much he loves sun and heat!
What is wonderful about spring and summer, though, are our local farmers' markets. I hve two within a bike ride of me and they are fabulous! We've been going for 18 years and the farmers have enjoyed watching our daughters grow up.
I miss winter in the UK...the snow, the dark evenings, the warmth inside, the clothes and layering.....chestnuts, mulled wine/cider, xmas markets. I don't like winter here in Oz when it is cold and wet. We usually try and go overseas when it's winter here. I love spring and autumn here although we don't get the autumn colours that I was used to whilst growing up in the UK, and which I've seen during Fall time in the US & Canada. Just beautiful.

I am in York which is about 45 minutes south of Harrisburg. I would love to go a bit further north for winter too. All we get here is rain and sleet. I want snow. Enough to shovel or better yet blow with my snow blower.
I am spring person. Can hint on image we will need? Is there a shopping listed yet? We will be in Tulsa OK. the week this is happening so will have to play it hear and see what happens! Thanks Linda

The Mini VSN is Friday March 8. Main is April 12 & 13
We don't give hints about images, because either it would give the challenges away OR we would have to everything because people interpret challenges differently.
No shopping list yet, but I will try to get something posted by this coming Friday morning. Glad to see you will be joining us again!

I will try to be there too!! I love Spring that's my favorite season, not too hot not too cold and all flowers start to grow, Here in France Spring is 20 March, my son's birthday!!

I am playing along this Friday in the mini and can't wait! The only items on the shopping list that I don't have are coffee filters. We are tea drinkers and have never gotten into coffee. My dad used to tell me that I would start drinking coffee in college because of late night studying and early morning classes. Well, I have always been an early morning person and college didn't change that so no late night study sessions for me, and I hopped out of bed for morning classes! My husband (who I went to college with) was always amazed that I ate breakfast everyday and went to bed by midnight.
I'm not a coffee drinker either but I bought some once for another project....maybe even got them at the Dollar Store and I do use them when making cards. I often use 2 or 3 together as a palette for paint...just squeeze a little paint or gesso in there and then I can mix it and toss when I'm done. I have no idea what the challenge involves but just wanted to toss that in....
That is good to know I can get coffee filters at the dollar store. I have seen people use them to pour embossing powder into as they fold easily to funnel the powder back into the jar.
I have question I know the Hostess of the challenges online for 1 hour. I am not sure I am going be around when Challenges go live. So areHostess suppose to around later so there answer too?

Each of the 3 mods are hosting that night: Lee, Misti, & Me. I can't speak for the others, but I will be around all evening. I'll get back with you on the deadline. Right now, it's a LONG time, but we may change it so people don't procrastinate. :-P We will definitely post our decision before anything goes live.
(I am guessing you asked because of the Fabulous Prizes. Even if a stamper doesn't complete all of the challenges, she is eligible for some of the prizes.)

Linda, you know that you do NOT have to play along while the challenges are live. You always have some time after to complete before the deadline. And it's always acceptable to complete only some of the challenges.

Hi girls I don't know of these exist in The States but I've got Tea filter bags and fill them my self with any kind of Tea, they may work for the challenge maybe...
I was thinking for those of you who don't drink coffee, maybe you have a friend or neighbor that would give you a couple coffee filters in return for a beautiful card.
Things are not looking good, for my mom all her blood missed up again. We stay until Friday Ct scans and bone scans. My mom has knee problem. And I really need a friend I am the end my rope. And just lost another friend last night to cancer. I can't help but, think the worsted. Jesus has to help us. That's all I can say! I am broken heart. How many times am going to have to be broken heart. Please Please Please prayer for us! Thanks Linda PS I tried of the crap and the third degree I am getting! all the tears and worried and frustration And because my aunt and good friend die yesterday. I thinking mom is next and that hurt me. The doctors have not said that, But I am so scared Parents having said much this time around! That makes worried even more. But they have not done the tests yet
I stopped by Target tonight to buy cat food for $150 ;) You all know how that goes, right?
They had bags of marbles in the dollar spot for buck. I grabbed some since I don't have any and they are on the shopping list. So if you need marbles you may want to check your local Target. And don't do what I did and browse the rest of the store or your dollar marbles will cost you a lot more. LOL!
Kim I saw the shopping list and thought...ooooh I’m doing a challenge on the S2S thread in a couple of weeks and will be including in my challenge that a pencil with an eraser can be used...I wonder if it’s for stamping lol.
It’s definitely an interesting shopping list.

Spring and autumn are my favourite times of the year, particularly autumn. Love the colours of the leaves....I miss it as we don’t really get autumn here.

I love summer! I love hot, hot weather! I love sunshine! I was born in Louisiana but raised in Wisconsin...long cold winters. Not that I'm retired we winter in Arizona and spend summers in Wisconsin. No more long winters for me! I just enjoy seeing the pretty pictures of snow.
I've never done a live VSN. What time does it start?

Tonight, we will have 3 challenges.
5 pm eastern, 6 pm eastern, 7 pm eastern.
The idea is to create a project in one hour, but there are no VSN police. Several hostesses have made samples, so there will be some inspiration to get you going.
You do not have to do the challenges live, or in order, but it's fun if you can try! Be sure to have a good supply of snacks and your beverage of choice. ;)
Throughout the evening, you can chat in this thread, as well as in the individual threads posted for each challenge.

My favorite seasons are spring and fall but they don't last long enough. Between summer and winter, I definitely prefer winter! Summer is too hot and too long here.
I hope I can play along today, I agree, that is quite the interesting shopping list.
Good morning everyone ... or is it evening. Here in Brisbane it will be 8 am when we kick off and only another 10 minutes.
I'm soooo excited. I haven't made a card since mid October.
I finished unpacking the craft room last night at about 8 pm but held off making a card so that I could debut with VSN lol.
