Hello and welcome to the Mix-Ability challenge here on Splitcoast! Our goal is to make mixed media, easy, approachable and FUN!

We want to convince you that no matter what your style is - you can DO it!

Your projects can be any type – cards, scrapbook layouts, art journal projects, 3D pages.

My challenge today is a to make a project with a large floral image and at least 2 different mediums.

My media today include:

`A background made with 'wrinkle free distress' technique using water based inks.

`Stampin Blends alcohol ink markers to colour the rose, outline the little leaves, the lace ribbon and direct to stamp colour for the sentiment.


`Stickers: I reassembled the negative bits of a large gold rose from my Love Today Planner Kit onto some cardstock, and then coloured. I also used a few little rose stickers.

I am playing challenge catch-up after my hiatus away for hand surgery/ recovery and a multitude of family issues requiring my attention, one of which was the birth of my third granddaughter, who is now almost three weeks old.

I think things are starting to get back to normal, so I can at least upload this card that I made while away at Mom's for a friend's birthday celebration: Happy Wishes for a Dear Friend. My mediums were: stamping ink for image and edge distressing, glitter pen, and Copic markers.
