I know I get bored opening my mailbox to advertisements and bills so often.
The card are beautiful!
Thank you Suzanne, Jeri, Lisa, Ramona, Judith. I keep them on my table to brighten my winter days!
Thank you, Diane, Glamour, for such a lovely card! Love anything that is not junk mail or a bill.

Today was Happy Mail for me! I received a wonderful card from Debbie (dbs). I love the card-- Great colors, design and sentiment. It is great to see what others create. Thank you very much, Debbie.
I also received a terrifically creative card from Mrs Noofy (Sue). She decorated the outside of the envelope beautifully and also sent some great papercrafting items. Thank you so much for everything, Sue!
I’ve collected quite a few over the years. Some of my favorite sets are Words to the Rescue by Stampers Anonymous. There are Birthday, Get well, sympathy and other sets. Fiskars has some nice sets too.
I love sending cards to people in 80's, 90's and above. Many of them don't have people that send them happy mail. It can bring a lot of joy to their day. Don't we all love happy mail!
I am trying to send a card to everyone that cards are requested for.
Faye....I was a little late sending it. It took a little longer to cut those pieces out and place the swirl paper in the spots. Thanks for letting me know it arrived.

It looked like you had cut the flower shape out of a die so I assumed you had done that to both pieces and then cut out some of the holes...

Faye....That is sort of the technique. I embossed with the retired SU rose embossing folder with white cardstock. Used a hobby knife to cut out some of the petal spaces. Trimmed with scissors around the roses. Came back and cut pieces of the swirl black/white do to fit those holes. The dp wasn't embossed and just placed behind. That would use too much paper. Plus, you might not get some of the design to show up well in the holes. Then glued it all on the black. So, there are a few steps to do. But, it's a cool look. Hope you have fun with it.

Wow....didn't realize it was 2012. The idea where I found it was using the inside of envelopes from your bills. It was showing that you could use those envelopes (inside) for cool smaller designs. Oh my gosh....I had a stack of those envelopes saved at one time!! Most of them were the black and white....with a variety of designs. Plus a few blue ones. This card....I didn't trim around the outside of the flowers. I did that on the one I sent Faye.

I received your wonderful card today. I love the image. You color beautifully. The colors, the embellishments and the whole design is great. I really like that you stamped your name on the back. I like everyone to take credit for their creativity.
Carla- thanks for the shine card. I need that. The background is really cool. I love how subtle the Seattle skyline show up. Your technique is a new one for me. The raised houses with windows is fun. Thanks for sharing this great card from WA to MN.
I received your wonderful card today! Very pretty floral paper and a great pocket card. Thank you for the packet of seeds. It makes me very eager for warm weather and planting flowers in the yard. I love the little apron and flower embellishments.
Today is the first day of Spring and your card arrived on the perfect day. Fortunately it is clear and sunny here today and got to 54 today. I am surprised the snow isn't melting faster. (But I hope no one has flooding.)
Suzanne, thank you for the beautiful card! It arrived in today's mail. Just on time, as tomorrow is my birthday.
