This event will be held on the second floor. There is one flight of stairs and no elevator. Please plan accordingly. ALSO ... This is the primary means of communications. You will want to check in often to be fully informed. I will update the participant list and swap lists ONLY when registration forms are received. It is nice to post here that you are coming and what swaps you are interested in ... but lists will be updated when I receive your registration. THANKS!!

I hope you’re planning to join us at our next Central New York Shoebox Swap.
Here’s the info:
Cost – $25.00 per person. Your registration must be paid no later than 5 pm on March 25th. This will give you 3+ weeks to complete your swaps and projects.

Mail your registration form and payment to Nancy Baker (address is on the form and NOT the same location as the event). There are no refunds, but you may offer your spot to someone else.
The address for mailing your registration is NOT THE SAME AS THE LOCATION OF THE EVENT!!
Here’s what’s planned.
PLEASE MAKE UP XX KITS!!! (plus ooopsies!!) PLUS 2 COMPLETED!
ONE for a sample at your table location, ONE for the Hostess.
Mandatory Swap(s) (just ONE of these is mandatory) – Participating in at least one of these swaps is part of the “price” of admission so everyone must participate in a swap (plus the shoebox table project is also required). You can, however, participate in any one, some or all of these swaps.

• Monochromatic FULL CARD swap
• Masculine themed cardfront swap
• SU only CARDFRONT Swap
• BABY FULL CARD swap

Mandatory Shoebox (Table) Project – Bring your idea and all the supplies (precut but not prestamped or prepunched) needed for EVERYONE to make your project the day of the event. Quality products are mandatory. There are several threads that discuss quality of swaps. Please read them if you are unsure. ALL the shoebox projects will be set out in the morning. You will proceed, in "round robin" fashion, to each of the projects and do ALL PROJECTS. YOU will move, YOUR PROJECT will not. GOOD DIRECTIONS WILL NEED TO BE POSTED ON YOUR SHOEBOX, you will not demo or be around for everyone to ask questions. When our final count is in, you will know how many kits to make. You will need to bring TWO extra completed shoebox projects (which includes a hostess thank you and one for your table so that everyone can follow it for directions). Participation in the table shoebox project is mandatory. This project will generally be a full card, with layers and embellishment(s) or a simple 3D item. Please provide any special adhesive that's needed. Make these something you’d be thrilled to get yourself. When you KNOW what your card or project is, please post a name for it here or send me a PM. We will all have a check off list the day of the event. Projects should take NO MORE THAN 10- 12 minutes to complete. If you are unsure, time someone else doing your project.
You WILL need 2 completed. One is for a sample at the table and one is for the hostess. I will try to complete all of the projects on the day of the event, but because of the hectic day may not be able to complete them all. HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND ...
Because we will need time to do EVERYONE'S shoebox, we WILL NEED TO LIMIT the number of attendees. It will be 32, MAXIMUM.
Food – Please indicate on the registration sheet the food item you will bring to share. Please be specific; don’t just say “food”! Ideas: breakfast items, lunch items, including salads, desserts, and snacks. Water will be provided. We love to try your food specialties! We will not have coffee, please plan ahead and bring it along. There is a refrigerator and a microwave. Crockpots are welcome too!!
“Garage Sale” – Bring your stamps and stamping supplies to sell or trade. Current Stampin’ Up! items must be offered for trade only; you can sell retired items. Sorry but we can’t be responsible for missing items so bring things at your own risk. There will be a LIMITED AMOUNT of table space for garage sale items. If you are bringing a lot to sell, you SHOULD bring your own table. There is no fee to sell/trade at this event.
Goodie Bags – for everyone! Everyone will leave with a bag of fabulous goodies. The goodie bags will all have the same value with some variations in colors, etc. If you would like to donate to the goodie bags, please send me a private message. We'd be happy to include a coupon or flyer as well.
Gift Swap – You don’t have to sign up for this one, but if you would like to participate, bring a WRAPPED gift related to our stamping passion. We will draw for those so that everyone who brings one will also leave with one. Value on these should be in the $5-10 range, and stamped projects are always appreciated! If it’s something you’d like to take home, it’s probably perfect! Be sure to include your name somewhere inside so the lucky winner knows who to thank. REMEMBER: Stamping-related!!!
We will try to provide a door prize for each participant. Feel free to donate one if you have something to share.
Other Stuff – Please bring your own labeled items for your personal stamping needs, including your favorite adhesive. These are the items you just can’t stamp without, like: bone folder, paper cutter/scorer, scissors, straight edge, stamp cleaner and whatever else you can't stamp without! Did I say adhesive????? Adhesive! You will likely need lots of it.
NAMETAGS are helpful, but not mandatory.
Don't forget your camera!
Complete the registration form and forward with your $25 payment by March 25th.
All funds collected will be spent on the event, for the room, drinks/snacks, CHOCOLATE, and paper products etc. Your registration is complete when your payment is received. If you have any questions, please ask!

Everyone will get one vote to choose your favorite shoebox project.

Now I'm jealous... why didn't I think of this? I didn't even look at the other cities. I've been wanting to take Little Missy to Quebec City, and she has spring break the following week. I really didn't think this through well. Boo. :(

I originally signed up for Atlantic City but my daughter wanted to come along and go to Quebec so I cancelled ACity and signed up for Quebec......We have never been so we are looking forward to it.....taking my granddaughter as well!

We went on vacation to QC this summer - LOVED it!!! (and it was just us adults for the trip, so that was even more fun)
Well - I hope I can make this one. We should be at my mom's for Easter - I just have to see if my daughter will have anything for lacrosse that day (the varsity team has been known to have practices or scrimmages the day before Easter) :-( That'll determine if we head up Friday afternoon or Saturday.

Sadly - yes! 17yrs old...she got her license back in January. We just went on our first college visit today (Quinnipiac University in CT). Things need to slow down a little....I'm not ready for all this!!!! :eek:

Filling out my form now. Was waiting to see when Taylor's gender reveal party was going to be, so now I know I'm free on the 20th. For those who don't know, my daughter Taylor and her husband Cody are expecting a baby in September. This Grammie can't wait!!!
