Carla here to welcome you to this week's Favorites Thread and say a big welcome to March! Hope that means spring is just around the corner.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, February 24 through Saturday, March 2. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
Our dedicated team members will be making the notifications:
Sabrina (Cook2), Carla (Covington Crafter), Kia (kiagc), Angie (ohmypaper!), Susie (susie australia) and Shirley (wannabcre8tive)
I didn't get much time in the gallery this week. However I did find some marvels in the Ways to Use It and Teapot challenge galleries. Here's what I found.
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you. Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker’sSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week. A big thanks, Carla, for selecting my Mixed Metal Leaf Foil card as one of your favorites. Such fun! Shirley, thanks for letting me know the happy news!
Terry

Shirley (wannabcre8tive), thank you so much for listing my card, IC691, In the Rainforest, among your favorites. Makes me a happy girl on this rainy (again) day.
Thank you, Kia, for the good news.

Smiling BIG! Thank you, Brenda (Benzi) for including my Leafy Woodlands Get Well in your list of Favorites for the Week. Thank you, as well, for the kind comment you left on the card.
And thanks to Kia for being the bringer-of-good-news to my email. You brightened my day!:-)
Thank you so much Lisa for choosing my "F4A471 Spring flowers and butterflies" card as one of your favorites this week:
Thank you so much Carla for letting me know,
I am embarrassed to only have one card to share today. Work was busy, I've had to put in some pretty intensive flute practice the last couple of days and we had my MIL over yesterday so I didn't even have time for a quick look through the gallery.
Thank you so much Kandie, Anita x2, Niki and Jen x2 for adding my cards to your list of favorites. I'm so honored.
Thank you Kia for the notifications.
A big thank you to Carla (Covington Crafter) for adding my card to the favorites. Also, thank you to Susie (susie australia) for the happy mail. You made my day!
I didn't spend a lot of time in the gallery this week, but here are some I did see and remembered to add to my favorites.
Thank you so much Miss Boo - a.k.a. jen70 for choosing my "F4A471 Spring flowers and butterflies" card as one of your favorites this week:
Thank you so much Carla for the happy mail,
Miss Boo - Thank you so much for selecting my Love Bandit Card as a favorite. So sweet of you to mention my card. And thanks also for Carla's notification. I definitely appreciate the behind the scenes worker bees.
Thank you so much Judy aka Gracie for choosing my "F4A471 Flower fantasy in blue" and "F4A471 Blue flowers".
Thank you so much Carla for the happy mails,
I spent most of my time this past week trying to get my car fixed - and therefore walking a LOT. And since I only got time to make one card the whole week, I was flabbergasted to get a Favorites notification today - Thank you Kia - for coming by to leave this happy news!!
My heartfelt thanks to the these wonderful women who added Lion-Hearted Kitten to their list of fav's -Brenda(benzi), Nancy(Williams), Carla((Covington crafter) AND Judy / Gracie (JRHolbrook) . . . your marvelous comments may help me allow my inner child / artist to emerge more often in the future. Over the weekend I drove 120 mile to a small town in New Mexico to show some stampers there how I made this. Fun but exhausting!
Here are the FEW fav's I managed to get in my own folder this week:
Been AWOL most of the day visiting family in Sussex so my list is far later than normal.
Because of time spent dealing with faulty new goods and fighting PC technology I have left less comments this week but I still managed to create a decent list of favourites and here they are
Genuine thanks, Lisa, Nancy(x2), Kandie, Niki(x2) and Judy(Gracie)(x3), for mentioning my cards on your lists. I truly appreciate it. Thank you, Shirley, for giving of your time on a Sunday to let me know. Hugs, Sallie
