Challenge Keyword: MIX318 Challenge Title: Draw A Line Host: Ky (Scrapacat)
Hello and welcome to the Mix-Ability challenge here on Splitcoast! Our goal is to make mixed media, easy, approachable and FUN! We want to convince you that no matter what your style is - you can DO it!
Our projects can be any type – cards, scrapbook layouts, art journal projects, 3D pages. Just use 2 or more mediums on your project!
It's been a harsh winter for so many. You know, we used to say you had to draw a line in the sand to make your point or take a stand. Well, I want to draw a line in the sand to put winter on notice. It's time to think about putting our toes in the sand!
This week's challenge is to create a project using a line as a design element. It can be a line made by washii tape, pencil, a line-based stamp boarder, or a line of stitching! You can get really creative with this. Bonus if you make it all about the beach, summer, sunshine, warm weather - you get the idea!
MIX318 Gallery Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma. If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit.
They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

I stamped three lines for my sea, hope that counts. I also scored a frame. You said we could get creative ;-). I wanted to sew, but maybe I'll find more time tomorrow...
I had my card for Kyra's challenge done yesterday and was going to share as a sample. I was going to wait until after dinner last night to do it. My kitten knocked over one of my craft boxes to the floor and all the supplies spilled out. I was not so quietly telling him how unhappy I was that he had made a mess, when my husband walked by and said "how could you tell" I have to admit it was rather messy. So I had to do some cleaning... that is why I'm late to the party. But I think there are still cupcakes? Right Kyra? MIX318 World day of Prayer by MariLynn - at Splitcoaststampers
Here is my welcome to spring card.
My fairy garden is coming back to life, An early hyacinth that was a midnight snack for a deer....and lots of daffodils up ready to bloom.
I'm playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking. I used several stamped lines and one of the bonuses, sunshine. My mediums are: dye stamping ink; pigment ink for ink edge distressing.
