Hello everyone!
I am posting a little early tonight due to my schedule tonight (I'm directing a show at our community theatre right now and we open next week!), as well as wanting to give you some extra time to work on this technique.
We are going to be using foil (which is all the rage now!) on our images and/or sentiments and stencils. You can use this technique tutorial by Ashley ---->FOILED IMAGES<----- or others than you have seen on the internet. There are many! I followed this one from Gina K:
If you do not have any foil, please feel free to substitute something of equal visual value. Just let us know what you did in your description. If you do have foil, use it! It's so much fun!
I might have a sheet of gold leaf somewhere if I can find it, otherwise like Anita I only have gilding flakes. Major catch-up on housework is called for today, but if I can find my gold leaf I'll make something tomorrow. I do have a lamiinater but no laser printer. I've seen people use foil on tacky alcoholl ink backgrounds, so I guess that's a possibility too.
I did two cards tonight with leftovers from a couple of other projects. This is the first foiling I have done using the toner and heat method. It was fun. I think I will try the transfer gel method as well and see which one I like best.
Here's a card I used using foil. It's not exactly as per the challenge but I thought I would share it anyway. I did try the technique using glue and my foil and laminator and it didn't work......not sure why and will try again another day. Unfortunately I don't have transfer gel.
In the meantime, here's my card. Thanks for the challenge.

FAB challenge. Just can’t seem to stop playing with my new Glimmer Hot Foil System This hot-foil stamping with dies technique is proving to be a total game changer as this method brings new life to our favorite cutting dies! Yay! Here's my take: TLC729, Thinking of You by Cards_By_America - at Splitcoaststampers
I'm pretty new to foiling but I really love it! A little bit of foil is such nice touch to the card! I created a sticker first with my butterfly die and then applied the foil. Enjoy!
