2019 Cards For A Cause JANUARY MISSION Stamp from the Heart!
ORGANIZATION BEING FEATURED: Arbor Landing
Description of Organization: Arbor Landing is a wonderful community located just ten minutes from Ocean Isle Beach North Carolina . We are proud to say we are growing by leaps and bounds! Not only do we serve as an Independent Living community, we also offer Assisted living and Memory care in our facility.
We share each and every holiday together and at times we will make up our own silly days just for the fun of it! The residents love to send cards not only for birthdays but also a “Just Thinking of you Card”. There will be days when we will all meet in the activity room, enjoy a cup of tea, share funny stories and write a note . It could be someone that has moved away, a birthday from afar. It maybe someone living here at Arbor Landing who may need a reminded of how truly special they are!
We are indeed a family of sharing and would be honored to send cards you have specially created for people in our lives.

SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS: please include envies and be aware of sharp embellishments.
GUIDELINES: Please keep in mind, we are representing SCS by sending our cards each month. Recycling is always good, but only use products on your cards that you would like to receive on cards. Also, our card donations are not tax deductible and it is not required. Please do not ask for a receipt. There have been groups that will send thank you's but the " referred by" person keeps us informed and passes on the thank you's. Most of these organizations are volunteers and spend countless hours helping others, let's help make their jobs easier and bless them in helping others.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For a little added inspiration you can join us in playing along with the OPTIONAL challenge each month. This is only optional and you do not have to play along to send your cards to the featured cause for the month. We always take cards no matter if you play along in the challenge or not. This months challenge is to be inspired by the color/mood board, see first post below. Be sure to use the keyword C4ACso that we can check out your card and comment! sending cards to seniors this month to send to others, I luv this month's too. what a great way to encourage lots of people, giving our cards to seniors so they can send uplifting thoughts to others!

I'm gathering my cards and need to make some sympathy to add in. Do you think they would use kid birthday cards? I have some of those I can add to the box.
I am finally back to making cards after a few months with little time and I will be sending some for this cause. I made 5 cards yesterday so in a week I should be ready to mail some cards.

I think b'day cards for kids are fine. I'm sure that they will be sent to grandchildren or great grandchildren.
Sorry, I realized after I send them that I forgot to include a note with my SCS name. This was fun. I have tons of card already made up and am glad to be able to find a place to send then.
I sent a box today and also forgot to include my name & screen name on it. So sorry about that! I put my cards into a finished card box… like a recipe box. I was thinking it might be useful for putting them out or storing things. Expected delivery is Wednesday.

I'm hoping to get my box of cards mailed tomorrow - since I have the day off. Approx 90 cards will be sent in flat rate box.
