Replacing Picasa for digital paper, stamps, ideas?

I reluctantly need to replace my Picasa with something else bc it is no longer supported and is having some issues. I have loved Picasa because I can store all my card, craft, decoration ideas along with all my photos, giving each item a tag or many tags to enable easy retrieval. I've used it like a Pinterest but long before Pinterest. My digital stamps and digital paper is stored there describing what color, holiday, etc. I have thousands and thousand of images. Am I the only one doing this? I have searched and searched for something to go into. Photo on my Mac is not at all friendly with the way it wants to tag and separate into folders like Picasa is. Any ideas out there?:confused:

I'm still using Picasa too! What issues are you having?

Try a google search for Free Photo Managers and see what comes up - I also use Google Photos and Amazon Prime Photos and those are easy to sync to other devices, though I'm not sure about tagging. For tagged storage I use Evernote and I have thousands of items and tags in there.

Thank you. I will give Evernote another look. I was in it many years ago. I've tried probably five different programs including Google Photos with unsuccessful results and am currently working in a paid program ACDSee that said it would work for me but so far has been less than helpful. It's the tagging and recovery for my tagging that I am after. Picasa was so perfect for me but it is not longer supported and began having bugs. What I do is actually a Pinterest of my own started many, many years ago. Pinterest is pretty good at storing and having different boards but tagging isn't something that it does. Maybe I should just use Pinterest and make a ton of boards to keep them separated that way. Thanks again.
