CC723 Someone Painted the Pool Cabana Coral!(01-22-19)
HelloColorChallengeFans! It's Jeanne this week and it’s time for a new color challenge.
First let's start with the Mary’s favorite from last week. She chose this gorgeous card Beautiful Flowers” from Bev aka guneauxdesigns. Mary said: “This is such a stunning card starting with the floral bouquet and her outstanding coloring of the images. I love how she stamped the stems and leaves in gray ink and used a gray background. It allowed the bouquet to really stand out with the bright and bold colors.”
Congrats Bev! The code to add the badge to your blog is below. We will also feature your card on our Pinterest Board. See that here.
Now onto this week's challenge. Are you ready for....
Someone Painted the PoolCabanaCoral!

Your SCS DT member samples!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC723 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
Wow! Mary, I am so surprised that my Beautiful Flowers was selected as your fav for last week! What a blessing! Thank you, Mary, for your kindness! I greatly appreciate this.

for this week's color challenge, I went with a Valentine's Day theme- using a pickup truck and hearts stamps from a vintage SU set. Added a punched heart shape, sentiment, and a coral yarn bow. Here's loads of love

Revisited this week's color challenge hues for my card today with a vintage theme and a very large bike- adding texture with a vertical swirls embossed border. Finished with a double scallop washi tape horizontal lower border. Here's vintage bike

Hello, TFL! I have been having a great time making Sugar Skull gift boxes, cards for the upcoming Day of the Dead , Dia de los Muertos, festival Celebration of LIFE and of those whose lives we miss. I have an 'album' on my gallery that shows several uploads from today. I made them in many different color schemes and this was one of them.
thanks for letting me play along, I know it is a few weeks past on this one, but was fun to use these colors. My Pool Party and Coastal Cabana are hard to tell apart, mainly because once I 'sugared' the image the colors get so bright that it seems like it became harder to tell. the Pool Party is used on the top of skull flourish and the mustache, the outline of teeth, and the sponging along the corners. The Coastal Cabana was used for the leaves/diamond shapes, the flourishes at bottom. have a great day, Teresa
I am playing my Challenge Catch-up cardmaking. Some challenges entered are newer, some are a little old, and some are really old!
The challenge colors are Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral. My card has Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral in abundance, but just a smidge of Pool Party in two sequins and a bit on the butterfly! Dessert: metallic = sequins.
