Default Easy Treat Holders

My company has this new thing about recognition and random tokens of appreciation for employees – as a manager, I’m trying to come up with some fun ideas for my group (I have 10 people who report to me). I think this initiative might start to get competitive between the managers, and since none of them are “crafty” people, I’m pretty sure I have an advantage…;)

Right now, I'm looking for ideas for a Valentine’s Day treat “thing” to make – something with candy (like Dove promises or Ghiradelli squares) that looks really impressive but isn’t super hard or time consuming to make. Any ideas for me? Pictures and instructions would be great! [Ideas for other holidays that I can use later in the year would be appreciated too.]

TIA!

There's a box for Ghirardelli squares in the tutorials section: Ghirardelli® Box Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers

And a cute triangle box: Triangle Box Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers

Unfortunately the search in tutorials is broken at the moment - otherwise I know that there are plenty of great ideas in there. Like the envelope punch board tote: Envelope Punch Board Tote Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers ... I know there are plenty of nugget holder ideas, too.

I agree that Pinterest is very useful. My easy go-to is 5 wrapped Hershey Nuggets on a little paper tray and packaged in a pretzel rod bag. Any holiday theme is good.

Pinterest is my regular go-to for this sort of thing, but for some reason, my company blocks that website...I can't imagine why - it's not like I get sucked into it for hours at a time (at least not every time I go there).

Thanks for your ideas - keep 'em coming!

My go-to for any kind of treat project is Sam (PootlesPapercraft). She has a YT with detailed videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/PootlesPapercraft as well as a blog with written instructions. I think you'll find a bunch of fun ideas for treats there.

Is work the only place you have access to internet, and if not I suggest you go there as there are many many videos including for those mentioned here.

As well on Pinterest, you will find a large variety of a project so you get lots of inspiration.
Nothing against SCS but more variety on Pinterest if you need a variety of ideas to make same treat holder with different looks KWIM

I like to keep it simple so I opt for wrapping chocolate nuggets with decorative seasonal paper. I mount 5 pieces on a piece of cardstock and slipping in a pretzel bag finished off with a bow. I find my co-workers are just happy to receive some chocolate treats.

wrapped nuggets are perhaps the easiest and most popular treats packaged. This is because the wrap can be adapted to any occasion and you can put as many or as few as you wish. The sky is the limit including toppers on your pretzel bag. Have fun with them.
