Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
CHALLENGE:
It's time to get out your joke books, puns, funny images (Art Impressions? they're funny) and put them to use. Make a card to bring a laugh or smile to our recipient this week.

just what I needed to get out of my doldrums...can't wait to get home and find some red DP. Thanks, Pol for the challenge this week. Ann has blessed so many of us here on SCS...it will be fun to see the Teapotter gallery in her honor.

I'm so glad to make a card for our Anne, she's always making me laugh so I hope she'll have loads of fun and humor in her letter box from all of us!!
Thank you for hosting this great challenge Polly
I have a doctor's appointment this morning and didn't have time to upload before I left. But I had great fun making a card totally inspired by David McKee's Two Can Toucan. Funny coincidence, right now the train is at a station called Harmonstown!!
And if you have five minutes to spare - here's an animation of the book . I think it's based on the newer illustrations - my copy is the original drawings.
How timely - I was just thinking this morning that I need to send Anne a PM because I've so missed her creativity and humor in the gallery. Great choice for a tea party.
The gallery is looking great....loving all the red and the humor ;)
Just watched that Toucan video Sabrina...how darling! Those illustrations are so cute. I always wondered how the toucan got its colored beak  My favorite line ..."He felt silly in a bowler hat..."...:p

I still have my very battered original copy of the book which I loved as a child..but I recently treated myself to the hardback special edition with the original illustrations. Now, after looking at the video, I think I'll have to get the newer illustrations too .
How wonderful that this week's Teaparty is for Anne, Polly! I am still away up the coast and will put a card from my stash in the post, on my return home on the weekend.

Hey, just popping in. I really want to participate in this one!
Just letting you know that a friend of mine, Joan, posted a card yesterday for last week's challenge. I told her how wonderful and sweet all of you are and suggested she join in the tea parties. It is her first time doing a challenge at SCS and she is so adorable. If you get a chance, go check out her card.

I have some red so hopefully there are still some cookies left!

Terrific challenge for Anne. This week has been extra hectic for me; I could not think of anything humorous at all. I still wanted to have a card for her, so I am sending one of my sketch challenge cards. There is red on them.
I just heard from Anne..she wanted me to pass along her "gigantic thanks" to all the TEApotters. She wrote:
"What a treat to be the recipient of the Teaparty. RED, funny cards began arriving on Wednesday, and it didn't take long to figure out why. Please let all the girls know how much I treasure their friendship, and how lovely it is to be missed."
She said things are starting to look up for her and she hopes to have her mojo back soon and be part of the party again..;)
I have been away since Thursday and I can't believe how much this fun Teaparty has grown. Our gallery looks fabulous, I can't only imagine what a hoot Anne's mantle must look like. Thanks for the update Polly.

I am playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking and catching up on my SCS postings.
Challenged to make a card that brings a laugh or smile. Since I'm late to the party, this smile-worthy card will go as a belated birthday card to a crafting friend and neightbor.
