Carla here starting the last Favorites Thread of 2018. How did the end of the year sneak up like that :shock:
Cross your fingers and toes that auto formatting and the like button are fixed. If they are, we'll be posting the BEST OF 2018 next Saturday, January 5th. I hope you are making your Favorites list to join in the fun of celebrating those cards that you've found extra special…your BESTs OF 2018. This event runs from January 5 through January 11, 2019! We'll resume the weekly favorites January 12th with cards posted from December 30th through January 12th. Having said the above, if auto formatting is still broken, we will postpone our Best of 2018 until it's fixed.
First, I want to thank you all for your patience and perseverance with the website problems. Unfortunately, the SCS website is still experiencing the broken AUTO FORMATTING of HYPERLINKS and the multiplying “LIKES.” The Favorites Team would surely appreciate you reading the paragraph below to make it possible for us to actually notify your favorites that you list this week.
A MUST READ TO ALL - THE AUTO FORMATING IS STILL BROKEN! PLEASE BE SURE TO MANUALLY TYPE THE USERNAME AT THE BEGINNING OF YOUR LINK AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR LINKS. They've been a bit wonky for some of us.
If you post your Favorites list in the usual way, we'll be unable to tell who to notify, unless each of us opens every single link. This would multiple our time to notify by SIX!!
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, December 23rd through Saturday, December 29th. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.

Just in case you missed the bright red in my first post, the auto-formatting of hyperlinks is currently not working. If you post your Favorite cards here in the usual way, we'll be unable to tell who to notify, unless we open every single link .
Please help us by typing the card maker's SCS user name in front of each card you list.
And be sure to double check your links, they've been a bit wonky for us. ALSO, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE,DO NOT CLICK THE "LIKE" BUTTON FOR ANY POST AS IT PRODUCES “LIKES” LIKE LITTLE BUNNIES MULTIPLYING IN ABUNDANCE, PLUS YOUR NAME WILL BE POSTED THEREAFTER IN EVERY POST EVEN IF YOU DIDN’T “LIKE” IT!! THUS, THE THREAD WILL BECOME INUNDATED WITH LONG LISTS OF "LIKES".

You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you. Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week.

That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker’sSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!!Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.

I'm doing my list in 2 parts, my early attempts were linking to cards made in 2004 LOL.
Here's what I found in my favourites for last week - and I did include one from the previous Saturday which I found too late to include in my list last week.
I thought everyone made such beautiful cards for the TLC on Monday, I could list them all (but I won't, just offer a link to the gallery for those who like to check it out). And I appreciate those who took time to try a new technique in a week when time isn't always easy to find. I also loved all the different real bridges and techniques for Tuesday's challenge - and all the bridge photos shared in the challenge thread too. Thank you all for sharing your creativity, and thanks to all who take time to share a link or two (or many) here. Especially with the ongoing issues. Susie, I'm sorry you had to make your list twice :shock:, that was a lot of work.
Hoping all are well and ready for the start of another year, where do they go and so quickly too? Big thanks to everyone participating here and for the love shared. Hope they get the bugs fixed soon - Not liking is quite a challenge!!!
