Hello and welcome to the last Inspiration Challenge of the year! Where did the time go? I have truly enjoyed hanging out with all of you on Saturdays this past year and I look forward to what next year holds for us!
This week we are headed to Unique Vintage which is brought to us by our guest designer, Susan (One4Joy)! Susan was drawn to their Barbie clothes for real people so I am linking us straight to the Barbie line but feel free to browse the entire site for inspiration. The site has wonderful colors and patterns, you can even select a line of clothing inspired by an era from the 1920s to the 1970s! We hope you enjoy this last Inspiration Site of 2018!!!
If you don't care to browse the entire site or you are unable to connect to the site, I have included photos at the end of this post which you can use as inspiration for your project. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE?
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right-click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture. Ha, I made myself a black wool swing coat from a Vintage Vogue pattern just like the red one on the page you link to. I remember buying the pattern and the fabric, then it took me months to find a pretty fabric to line it. I do occasionally wear it ...the rest of the time my dress form does.
Wowza Susan and Angie, amazing site for inspiration. I could create all day from that site if I had more time. Alas my son has an eagle project that we have to get to today so I had to make some quick cards.
Lisa thank you for your great aunt's idea!! This is a real fun design!!

Our kids have left from their Christmas visit and now I have my craft room back which had to double as a guest room. I had a little time to make a card. Thanks for the inspiration!
such a fun site! I loved the pinks and polka dots especially, so I used 2 stamp sets for my dress on a stand and assorted sewing elements- including pink fabric. Added some vintage style kitchen "paper"- actually recycled birthday gift wrap- and some floral paper. Added a sewn piece of fabric, a thick yarn wrapped spool, sewing machine, and pin tomato. Finished with a stitched red bow from a Christmas gift. Here's My new dress

Here is my card. I may get to do the one I really wanted to later. PS, Love the Barbie fashions. I had a lot of those dresses for my Barbie dolls when I was in grade school, my mom worked for Mattel. (Probably about 55-57 years ago?) IC Curves -RobinC by Stamperrobin at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for looking!
