I had a fantastic run early this morning and now have been stamping all day, making birthday cards to give to my grandma as a Christmas gift, listening to music, drinking tea, and eating chocolate-covered peanuts! A stamping magazine came in the mail yesterday, so I have had lots of inspiration and cards to case. I took the dog outside for awhile this morning and she has been sleeping peacefully all day (she's usually always wanting to play or have her belly rubbed). I even love what I am making for dinner tonight!
Share what is wonderful about your day! I love hearing happy stories and other people's joy!
I received a call from my Mother today and she will be visiting me next week! I am excited as I have not seen her for a long time. I do not travel well, so family brings her to me for a day.
We have sunshine! I was able to get decent photos and post to the Virtual Stamp Night mini challenges (the ones numbered 1 - 3).
I have my labels printed for mailing my Christmas cards. Now I need to get the insides finished and ready to go in the mail. It will happen.
I love good days!

You are having a good day! Are you going to play in the main VSN this Friday and Saturday? There are a lot of fun challenges planned!
Great subject, and I'm glad to be able to read happy stuff! I'm having the opposite sort of day... I'm hoping to turn that around when I get home from work and into my room and start playing with my stamps and ink!
I have family coming from AZ & GA & NC. We're having a Christmas party Saturday; I needed to finish gifts for 6 sets of aunts & uncles. All the same so I did assembly-line fashion. All done & ready to go in gift bags. Here's what I made; very happy to be finished! I was going for a distressed look. The background is from an old encyclopedia, which I aged further with distress ink. The letters N-O-E-L are made of, from left to right: corrugated paper, felt, cork and burlap. A burlap string bow and tiny veneer stars completed the look. I was heavily inspired by Concord & 9th, using their Joyful Noel stamps/dies.

I love days like that! We all get it, sometimes the stars just align from start to finish and it gives us such warm happy feelings! Thanks for sharing it with us and reminding us that amidst the busy and chaotic, bright sprinkles of happy come along!
I'm part of a group of women business owners that get together for lunch once a month. We usually go to a restaurant but I love to cook so I offered to host this month.
I made stuffed pork tenderloin, Leek, Fennel, Mushroom Galette, Spinach salad, and Pumpkin Praline Torte. We had an ornament exchange and just enjoyed that afternoon. We enjoyed it so much lunch lasted almost an hour longer than usual.
I made a few more Christmas cards and am now enjoying the evening with my family.
Definitely a wonderful day!
These stories brought a big smile to my face. I'm feeling really stressed about Christmas this year and I need to remember that it should be fun, too.

Your lunch sounds amazing, especially the galette! I bet you have a real gift for cooking.

Sue, did your day get better? Were you able to stamp after work?
Linda, I love your Noel piece! I love the wreath standing in for an O, the wordy background, and all the distressing. These will look beautiful in your relatives' homes.

It did (sort of), and I was! I played with some long-neglected stamps and tried a new thing, so there's that. I'm gearing up for VSN this weekend and looking forward to PLAYING!!!

Thank you! I've been cooking since I was 10, so I have a good 40 years under my belt. I am a pretty great cook (it took me a very long time to be able to claim my cooking greatness without feeling boastful or prideful, but many friends over the years told me that I needed to accept that people think I'm a great cook and that I shouldn't be afraid to claim it) and my favorite thing to do outside of stamping and jewelry design is cooking
