I have 2 Nuvo embellishment mousses that have completely dried out-I sprayed water in one today hoping it would revive it, but it didn’t work. Anyone have any suggestions?
You might want to watch this video. This person was sent new mousse and lids. If there is cardboard in your lid instead of styrofoam you might be able to get a replacement.

Hmmmm, interesting. There was another thread about embossing paste with similar issues. It turns out that the embossing paste container should be stored in a plastic bag. I was able to reconstitute mine by mixing in a bit of water. (Mixing was not easy since it was so dry; sorta had to smash it together bits at a time.) It’s a little thinner now but works well. Hope this helps....
Mine are drying out too. I use them with foam applicators now. Not much dimension, but there is a lot of shine. I won't be buying them anymore, though. Give me my good old Golden's paste any day. I'll just color my own from now on. That stuff lasts forever.

What is the full label on the Golden that you use? Sounds like the one I need.
One thing that may help- I had a problem with some Gilding waxes- Cosmic Shimmer brand. After I got them softened- and I used the pencil Blending solution on them- I added some cling film- I think it's what you know as saran wrap?- over the top of the pot before putting the lid on.
Thanks, Shaz. I had the same thing happen with all my Dyan Reaveley paints. I spritzed them with water before I closed them, but they still dried out. They were gross, and I had to throw them all away. It was a real waste of money, because I had hardly used them.
I had a similar problem with my Viva Decor Inka Gold products. I chopped up the dried product while still in the containers, sprayed with water chopping and mixing. I let them set overnight. The product became rehydrated and usable again.

Sadly mine are so dry, I couldn't even use with a foam applicator... I did make a bit of progress after adding water but nothing like the unopened mousses I have. :(

Thank you so much for sharing; I did have a couple that were unopened with foil over the top; I did open them slightly and they were still very moist, but I don't know what type of lid they have - so I'll be checking that tonight; thank you so much!

Don't give up just yet, it may take a repeated process of mixing with water and setting a couple more times like I used on a one of my pots of VDIG and it finally paid off and became hydrated/creamy again.
And I should mention, I never remove the foil covering on my products. I'll pull it back to get what I need and cover it back up.

Thanks Scrapjenny for the Golden info. That sounds like the one I'll be buying. Just checked my two Nuvo mousse jars. They have the cardboard lid insert and sure enough they are all dried up. I've had them about a year and gave them a good spritz the last time I used them about three months ago. I didn't save the foil which probably would have helped. I spritzed them heavily just now and will see if it makes any difference.
