It's Sabrina here to start this week's thread. My, it's hard to believe we're halfway through November already - and Thanksgiving coming up in a few days. Although it's not celebrated over here, the Black Friday sales have certainly crossed the Atlantic. Actually, the only time I was in the States was when my mother had a heart attack over there and I went over to help my half-sister out. My mother got out of hospital the day before Thanksgiving, so while it was low-key I did enjoy the celebration and get to eat (and help cook) many of the tasty treats. Let's get going early and share some thankfulness and love for all the beautiful creations people share each week.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, November 11 through Saturday November 17. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
This week the team members who generously volunteer their time to help share the good news by notifying are Carla (Covington Crafter), Carlene (chatterbox-1), Kia (kiagc), Shirley, (wannabecre8tive) Nancy (nwilliams6) and myself (Cook22) - with Angie (ohmypaper!) standing by in the wings for those of you who get to post a little later in the week.
I had an exceptionally busy week in work and we also have a house guest which is good for my knitting but means I've had very little time online - however I do have a few to share...
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you. Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker’sSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week. Need help posting your favorites list or thank you? Click the below links for posting tips.
Thank you for starting us off Sabrina. Happy Thanksgiving to those in the USA, and happy shopping to the rest of us!
As always the gallery was filled with magic. Some of my dates appear to be out of our Sunday 11th to Saturday 17th time frame, but they are from the Dirty Dozen girls.
Many of you will know our newest DD girl very well. Congratulations Kim and Ann.
Thank you Sabrina for getting us started! And, as always thank you to all who participate in this thread, encouraging each other in our creative endeavors. I'm grateful for all of you and so happy to be part of this community.
Warning, I've got a big list this week! I finally called a stop to my gallery viewng, my apologies to all the marvelous cards I missed and to the notification team. I'm making up for the last few weeks when I didn't post a list.
First, congratulations to the newest Dirty Girls, Ann Jones (Dockside) and Kim Padan (berlycece)! Be sure to stop by, leave them some love and congratulations on their addition to the SCS Dirty Dozen Design Team!
Here are my favorites from this month's Design Team Gallery, Along Those Lines.
Thanks for getting us started, Sabrina. The fabulous food has already started around here - this morning we are going to my Pop's for a wonderful breakfast - dirty grits, brown sugared sausage, breakfast enchiladas, breakfast casseroles, bacon, cheese biscuits, hashbrown casserole, and tons of donuts (the kids love them). You are all welcome of you can get here in a few hours.

I have a few cards from the Fan Club to add this week that were added to the gallery before the week but they were not available to be seen. I hope you love them as much as I love them.
