It's time for me to hostess another challenge. Let's make a mess...or not. This week, we are going to get our splatter on. For this challenge, we are exploring ways to make a splatter. Make a mess if you want by using ink spritzers or paint brushes and ink/paint. Not into messy crafting? Use a splatter stamp.
A big thank you to Lisa, Cathy and Sabrina for helping me out this week with some fabulous projects. Remember to use the keyword, WT714, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creations. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for this challenge HERE.
Need help linking your project? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your project and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your project window. Highlight the address for your project. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
Spattering used to be way out of my comfort zone, but various challenges pushed me into trying it and I now use it a lot...so for this challenge I took it easy and used a stamp ;-).

Inspired by the children's book The Snowy Day- I used waxed paper and a swipe of brown ink pad for my card background. Added top and lower borders of dry embossed circles and snowflakes to add some texture. Recycled some red and red striped paper from a mailer for 2 sides of my card. Here's grungy snowflakes

Inspired by the tags created here by Dani114- I created this pocket, embellished with holly and berry clusters, bows, and gold and green evergreen branches- I made a central sentiment panel, using watercolor powders to get a messy tie-die look- I inseted a fussy cut gift card envelope inside- made from 2 holiday mailers- here's Wrapped Christmas

This was a fun challenge. I was trying to play it safe with splattering with water. That didn't work so out came the paint. Now my shirt is in the washing machine soaking to get the paint out! Celebrating You by pvilbaum - at Splitcoaststampers

These splatters helped cover up an area where I got a bit of red copic outside of the lines & couldn't get it completely erased with the colorless blender! Great solution!! LOL
