Christmas card kits without stamping? Need ideas.

I have a couple friends who are not crafty (stamping whise) but really enjoy the Christmas cards that I send and would like to make a few for their closest relatives this year. Do you know of any Christmas card kits that are out there that don't require stamping? They don't mind having to adhere layers onto to a card base but would like everything in one kit (card bases, sentiments, layers, etc)

Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Could you maybe make them up some kits yourself? Die cut snowflakes/bauble/snowman etc,a sentiment and embossed sheet of card along with a card blank maybe?

There are 12" x 12" paper packs out there that include DP, stickers and panels. Check MayMay Made It's YouTube videos for the names of some packs where she shows how to cut up the paper and sheets of panels to make cards.

How funny that you mentioned this. I went on Youtube to get some ideas and came across her videos. I just finished watching one. What a great idea.

I saw some Anna Griffin kits at Tuesday Morning when I was there last weekend. I think they may even have more than one kit to choose from and if y'all/they make card together they could swap card bits too.

If you search on E-Bay for handmade Christmas card kits you can get some ideas. They have quite a few rather nice ones. Some are pre-stamped and many are made from supplies you probably already have.

I would probably look for some project life holiday cards, or 12x12 sheets that can be cut down into 3x4 cards that already have sentiments on them. Then all you have to do is match some cardstock for layering and a base and pick out some coordinating (flat) embellishments, like sequins or washi tape or stickles.

I saw some really cute cars making kits in the Holiday stampin’up! Catalog. I don’t think any of them had stamping involved. I ordered the Poinsettia one. I’ll try to post a pic later.

I think you have to stamp with all of the SU kits.

I think the only actual holiday card kit is Timeless Tidings. It doesn't come with stamps but the examples show stamped sentiments from the coordinating stamp set.

Would you be able to do just the stamping for them? I am thinking you (or they) could order kits that required stamping, you could stamp the sentiments for them, then they could assemble. I have ordered the SU card kit but not the stamp set; I plan to use some of the sentiment stamps I already own to add sentiments so I was thinking you could do that for them which is much less time consuming than making them entire kits.

I started watching the May May Made It video using a 12" paper pack that included stickers and such. I would DEFINITELY go that route! The only stamping she did was inside the cards, and she got a LOT of mileage out of the pack! Depending on how many cards each person wanted to make, you could probably split packs and still get quite a few each...

Inside sentiments can be printed on a computer. I tend to do this a lot as I don't have to worry if I used that same stamped sentiment last time. They can either cut into panels or fold the paper in half. I tend to trim about an 1/8 inch off too so a bit of the base card shows, I think it give it a more finished look but it isn't a must.

I think it will be easier to find kits if they were willing to at least stamp the sentiments.
I think they'd have the best luck just going to a craft store and picking out a packet of pre-folded cardstock/envelopes, some die cut shapes and (optional) some dsp they like.

I'm really not sure why they don't want to stamp. They've known me to stamp for the past 20 years or so and have always loved my cards (even though I CASE most of them LOL) but they both have said that they have NO interest to actually sit and stamp them. One of them did come over a couple times over the past few years and made a couple cards but she just didn't like the actual stamping part of it. She loves the end result but not the work. LOL But they've both said they probably wouldn't mind having everything already "done" and then just having to assemble it all. So that's the reason why I was looking for "kits".
