I bet you're viewing in mobile version and everyone who says it's fine is in the desktop version. I had to switch to mobile to see what you are showing. But you can still click on each card to open it up, can't you? That looks like a hybrid, because essentially when we choose to view last day, 3 days, week, that's just a filter. I don't remember it in the mobile version before...but then, I avoid it as much as I can.

I'm on the tablet but I always choose full version before and never had a problem. It just started two days ago. I'm still full version in forums.
If I don't get my full version view back I'm afraid I'm done in the gallery. It just doesn't make it easy to view stuff. In the full version I can see many cards on a page, but not the way it is now. Praying its just a glitch....
Give feedback to Chrome about not being able to choose the desktop as default .It's probably a waste of time, but if enough people do it ??? I sent it every other day for a couple of weeks and then told them I was giving up Chrome on my phone because at least Opera let me option for desktop by default. The internet is full of people looking for help on how to set Chrome to default to desktop. I pointed that out too. I still send it occasionally when I log into Chrome for some bookmarks.
Are you in desktop or mobile version of the site? I'm in desktop, and when I click on your name beside your post, I see the Visit wavejumper's gallery option.
The alternative is to go to Member Galleries, search for her name and then bookmark it for the future. Before we could sub, there were a few favourites I had bookmarked so that I could swing by them every so often.
But if you're in the mobile version, I don't have any suggestions except to get out of it. I think it has such reduced functionality, I hate that Google have forced it on people.
I've got the same thing happening as WJ. It's happening on my ipad and desk top. I will use Sabrina as an example - using desk top computer in Firefox.
If I click on Cook22 in post#2, the drop box appears and I can select visit Sabrina's gallery, send a PM, view public profile etc. Nothing has changed there, however if I view one of Sabrina's cards in the gallery, then click on her name where it says POSTER, there is NO drop box and I am immediately taken to Profile for Cook22.
I get to see last card and comment made. I cannot access Sabrina's gallery. I can only visit Sabrina's gallery if I view it via one of Sabrina's comments in a thread/forum. The minute I open one of Sabrina's cards in the gallery, I just get Cooks22 profile.
The mobile version is dreadful. Today I don't even get an option to view it in normal mode. That's a problem for another day.
If the problem that WJ picked up on is not fixed promptly, this will impact on many ladies doing their Favs of the Week lists.

I no longer have the option to view in full mode. My gallery and others look completely different for past few days. No choices in my gallery, I have to push the back arrow to get out of it. And all the cards are so big! Descriptions on cards even look different! I don’t like this at all!
Unfortunately I can't provide useful feedback re browser because after an earlier upgrade forced me to the mobile gallery version as default I ditched Chrome for Opera which isn't listed as a supported browser. I DID use Chrome to send Lydia a video screen capture of some problems I was having.
Interestingly, Susie...I do see what you mean about clicking on user name beside an upload in the gallery in desktop version and just getting a profile. Now, that used to be more of a mobile version thing: as a gallery mod I couldn't click on a name and get the usual options which I often use, without getting into desktop. It's horrible to see that hybridised into the desktop (on Android anyway). If I deliberately choose mobile, I do find a way to see that member's gallery...but only in that pictures in a column layout which I don't find user-friendly.
Hopefully this is just a glitch that can be fixed quickly!
At the moment I can't even reply to comments left on my cards using the stupid mobile version. I can't get out of the mobile view as I'm not given the option to see the full view. SCS days are numbered if this is a permanent feature when using an iPad or other mobile device.
Our entire culture is sharing the love and returning a kind word....that's almost impossible in the current format.

I'm getting very frustrated about this too! When someone leaves a comment and I click onto their name, it brings me to my profile! There is No dropdown for me to choose from any longer. I end up "searching" their name and looking at their cards that way, or else I go back to the challenge that I made a card for and scan to hopefully find they have made a card. I can't even pm anyone any longer. I had to leave Sabrina a comment on her card for every else to see, then she pm'd me and I could pm her back. Frustrated.....

Something must have changed - I will summarize the other reported issues so they can take a look:
-not able to add cards to favorite
-not able to view latest gallery additions from button on home page and on android the formatting is totally broken - every image is a different size, mobile verion text and styling not honored.
-selecting other galleries besides main -example-Anything but a card , stampin up etc- results in only four cards or none at all
-lots of complaints about mobile version.
-no ability to view desktop
-can no longer view more than 48 cards in member gallery on mobile

I’m having the same problem and I use Google Chrome and my Ipad. Have used it for a long time.
Seems like it’s looked in Mobile view. I have had it do this before, but I could go to the bottom of screen and click on full view.
I pm a couple more people and they are having the same problem.
I sent email to Tech support and Lydia emailed me back asking the same question.
I think there is something wrong on the site if it’s several people having the same problem.
The Forums are ok.
Would appreciate any help.

Ok, I figured out my problem. Maybe this will help someone else.
I went to my main computer and logged in with Crome, no problem.
Came back to my ipad, still having a problem. In my last update, I think is where my problem started. Because now at the top there are 3 dots. I clicked on the dots and
I clicked on Request desk top site and it went back to normal.
The only thing is everytime I open another tab In the gallery, I have to click on that.
Hope this helps and I didn’t confuse anyone.

Carolyn, I don't think it's to do with an update at your end, because it appears to be across Android and iOs. Certainly it does look as if it's defaulting to mobile view for everyone, which is what I figured on reading Kathy's post. I think that selecting View Desktop Version worked for her too.
As for having to select it each gallery page - I had to do that months ago, which is when I abandoned Chrome . It was that or give up here. So I do know how frustrating it is - I was always surprised when nobody else seemed to be having my issues back in the early summer!
I just checked and I did not have to select request desktop site this time. It seems to have stayed selected. I can't imagine the frustration Sabrina has had to deal with.

I couldn't deal with it. All the solutions I found for Chrome were far too technical for this tired brain to try to implement. Thankfully Opera gives me the desktop version by default 90% of the time. I'll take that over using a supported browser that I can report issues with here! I'd tried another browser which allegedly let you select desktop as your preference (it used to be the only one I could access our revenue on to deal with tax issues!), but it failed to deliver what it promised. If it weren't for Opera I'd probably have taken a back seat on SCS. I'm glad the desktop seems to have stuck for you. Long may it last.
Mine now is working, even when I added another tab. Since I switched to Chrome a while back had better luck than Internet Explorer.

SCS hasn't supported Internet Explorer for a long time now. A lot of sites don't, especially the earlier versions. Edge, which is Microsoft's replacement for it in Windows 10, isn't supported here either.
That is why I switched to Chrome. I use it for everything.
I had a hard time convincing my DH. He was ready to buy another computer. He finally gave in. I think there is usually something on each one we have problems with.

I’m having same problem on Chrome. I found a temporary fix on Chrome. There’s 3 dots at the top, click on that and scroll down to View desktop. But you have to do that each time you open a tab or window. It doesn’t work on the new Fairy Tale gallery, it stays in mobile view.

Here's another for your list, Lydia I can no longer see the drop down box under any users' name w/ the options to visit gallery, see profile, etc. A click on it takes me directly to what I usually see when I'm looking at the member list. Very aggravating because I use this function all the time to go from a comment to the user's gallery or posts or send PM's.
I'm not on a mobile. IOS, using Safari Version 12.0 (13606.2.11)
eta: I can still click on a user name & get the drop down IF they comment in a forum. I can't do it if it's post on a card in the gallery.
AND you won't believe how hard this made it for me to send a PM to the Featured Stamper last night! With this gone, there's no quick or easy way to send a PM to anyone.

Hey, Susie...I see what you mean. Until a couple of days ago, I used to be able to click on a card, scroll to the bottom, & select view full site. Now it's gone! Oh, no! Hate that!
I've been having a different issue with the gallery from the other thread.
When I get an email notice for a comment on something in my gallery, I click on the link to go to the card, and it does take me to my card...HOWEVER... there are no comments on those pages. None. Not the old ones, not the new one(s) that I got the email for.
I must admit to having gotten a lot of these emails in the last week, since it is DD gallery week, and every one of them I have had to go to my gallery and open from there (instead of the link in the email, the way it always used to work) in order to see the comments.
I’ve experienced the same issue Diane. In order to read new measssges I’ve had to go back to the challenge thread, click on the gallery link, then find my card to read the recently posted comments. I’ve been ‘stuck’ in the mobile view for several days and can’t seem to get back to the full site view format.

I'm on an Android with full site desktop view but can't view the gallery normally. Can only see 12 scrolling vertically and can't get the thumbnail view. Very frustrating.
Just to add my voice to the list. I use Safari and a laptop. When I click on Poster I don't get the dropdown list but only the profile view. Been going on for a couple of days now and happens even with old card uploads and in Favourites. If the buttons going horizontally across the bottom of the comment are there the one that says 'gallery' will take me to the poster's gallery. Those buttons aren't always there.
Sometimes when I get a comment on a card and click on the link in the e-mail message I get taken to my card but don't see any of the comments. Sometimes it works ...sometimes it doesn't. Sure hope there is a fix for this!

I think the reason for your second issue is easy to explain. Nowadays instead of always taking us to the first page of comments, it's meant to take us to the page the comment is on. But there's a slight mismatch, because sometimes the notification email says it's taking us to page two but in fact the most recent comment was still on page one. I just go up to the address bar and replace the 2 in the address with 1 and it takes me back to the most recent comment on page 1. This has been reported several times here so I presume that a fix is in the works at some stage.
Amen to all of the above! I am so frustrated at not being able to use the drop-down box and get to the user's gallery, do a pm, etc. Help! I use my laptop with the same Safari version as Julie, and I tried to comment on my iPad and totally gave up. And what's with the � that we keep seeing? It wasn't there a day or so ago? Was there an upgrade recently to SCS, Lydia? Sigh....
In Safari on my laptop, I can see 96 cards at a time. But what's with the weirdness even with the width of the website that has changed a couple of times today. About a quarter of the left side of the website was empty. Seems like something weird is happening, and I wonder whether the ads are doing something weird. I noticed on my iPad that the ads were blocking things.
Not having a drop-down box will greatly hamper the Newbies thread. We won't be able to find out whether they are true "new" members, members for years, anything about them...another sigh. Hope this can be fixed quickly.
So glad I checked this thread as I have been struggling for about three days with this problem. The only way I can return the kindness from someone commenting on my card(s) is to highlight the commenter's name, paste it into the search section, and click on go to get to their gallery. Very frustrating!
Another thing I am experiencing is being unable to see the comments on my cards. If I get an email message to inform me that I received a comment, I click on the link in the email, which takes me to my card. Unfortunately, there are no comments showing. I have to click on "my gallery" to get to the card to see the comments.
Sweet sis, Cheryl, you're the computer guru, maybe you should tell "them" how to fix these problems. LOL

So yes, the issue kicks in when there are more than 12 (so someone else figured out) comments on a card. It's that comment on the cusp of the rollover that foxes it. I do love that most of the time the email link does actually now take us to the page the comment is on instead of always the first page, but it will be even better when it's fine-tuned.
The quote includes my quick fix for getting to the previous page...so long as you have a browser with an address bar.
Bev I am hopeful that all the issues will be fixed quickly......'cos how else are Internet Brands going to be able to shove all this advertising down our throats :rolleyes:
