MIX275 Simple Hello

But I'm going to muse while at work this morning and try to think of a Christmas card design so that maybe I can knock out my March  quota of four whilst fitting your challenge brief.

Smile MIX275 flowers and circles

I love the idea of 2 mediums and 2 paper layers- I got the idea to use these striking fabric strips left after cutting pieces for my next quilting project - then using them for my card- gluing them diagonally, then adding texture and locking them down with my wood grain embossing folder. Added a simple greeting which was colored with painter's tape rubbed against my ink pads. Here's flowers and circles

Thanks for the challenge prompt, I did indeed get a few Christmas cards made, though not what I was originally envisaging which was going to involve Brushos and poinsettia : MIX275 Simply Christmas

I've been trying to be brave and try a Mixed Media card, and I wanted to use my new Mother's Day Brushos. Since this challenge wants only 2 types of media and 2 layers, I thought I might be able to manage this with the card I had in mind! My medias are: watercolor powders and texture paste. My layers are: a gold shimmer cs and watercolor background for layers (I didn't think we had to count the cardbase. . .hope I'm right).

Here is my card: A Little Brusho Work for Graduation Time#1!

Since I already braved one Mixed Media card and I needed two graduation cards...why not try it again with different colors! My two medias are: watercolor powders and texture paste, and my two layers are: a gold shimmer cs and watercolor background (I didn't think we had to count the cardbase. . .hope I'm right).

Here is my card: A Little Brusho Work for Graduation Time #2!
