Default uses for offcuts of red rubber stamps

Just discovered 9 'sheets' from Stampin' Up that I kept from years gone by, where I have removed the stamps and just have the leftover bits. Some are random shapes, some are ornaments or other recognisable outlines. I'm sure I kept them because I'd seen suggestions of uses, although I can't remember any! Any thoughts?

Making a background mosaic stamp is what I have done with mine: Stained Mosaic Tutorial - Splitcoaststampers

I have a full background size and a smaller one.

At one point, I know people (me included) were cutting them to use as dimensional pieces to lift elements of their cards. I find it's worth investing in actual dimensionals, however. ;-)

I think you might be able to spritz through the rubber to make a background for a particular stamp like an ornament. You'd probably want to cut the pieces apart and get to the bare rubber (plus mask around it) to do this best. I've never tried this as it just occurred to me.

I like Sabrina's mosaic stamp background as well.

I like the ideas already mentioned. I agree with Linda about dimensional being worth the investment.

If I ever get around to making tile coasters, they might make good "feet" if you can get enough of the same size/shape.

Maybe replacement feet for trivets?

I cut out a basic shape like a leaf or flower. Then use my xacto knife to gouge out veins etc. They make neat 'primitive' images.

I was wondering if it could be carved with the stamp carving tools. I think it's a bit softer that than the usual stamp carving material, but it might be worth a try and see if you could carve some small stamps.

I took them to card club and let everyone make their own Mosaic stamp, they would use on the kit I made for that day's shoebox kit. They took the new stamp home with them too. I had some leftover wood for them to mount their pieces of rubber to make the Mosaic stamp. Fun day years ago now. Ahhh memories...but still the same card club group.

I just throw them away. I've saved so much junk that I never used that I don't keep it anymore. That's one of the reasons I don't buy those kinds of stamps anymore.

I cut them up to use for all sorts of other stamps. Just recently I made fence posts for a Halloween card.

I also have cut them up for shadow stamps (squares, rectangles, triangles) and even did a fish way back when!

For some reason my card did not attach. I will try again.

Originally I threw them away. Now I peel the backing off and keep the
In the SU cases. Keeps the stamps secure and I can see at a glance if a stamp is missing.

I also now do the same thing. I like that it keeps them in their places better since the SU stamps no only don't stick to the blocks but don't stick to the cases either. I have to laugh though as I have two complete leftovers, that for the life of me I can't match up to the right stamp set. Grrrr. Frustrating.

Oh dear...

Y'all are not helping my New Years resolution to purge. I pulled out an alphabet set that I rarely use the other day and decided to trim a few of the letters a bit more which resulted in giving me stick like bits. Now they are on one of my blocks waiting to be used as a fence instead of in my trash.
