Scrappin' Challenge 2018Can you believe this is our 10th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2017 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2018! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2018! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2018 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc18sep"

Greetings to September and all my scrappy friends! I missed my goal last month by 1, that is still a win for me. I'm ready to hit the ground running with a goal of 10 again this month.
So, my current YTD is 73. I have it in my head to complete 120 for the year, which means I'll need to do more than 10 during these last two months.

I completed 5 layouts last month. Not as many as I wanted, but better than nothing. I hope to do a lot more this month so I might reach my yearly goal.
YTD: 63
September goal: 10
For those that live in America - enjoy the long weekend!

I completed 13 layouts in August, my biggest month this year! This brings me to 40 layouts for the year. I have a few other things going this month, so I think I will set my goal at 8 and see if I can get them done while I'm on a roll. Still going to try to do last month's scraplift since a new challenge isn't posted until next week.
I got 30/20 done in September. I'm going big this month with a goal of 40. I will have not time to scrap in October because I'll be making Halloween costumes all month, and I have four birthdays, so I have to double up this month. My year to date is 201 layouts. Wish me luck!
I made 47 cards and 3 ATCs in August but no scrapping! So, this month my goal is 10.
I don't think I am going to make my 100 goal for the year, unless I really get busy. I have a scrap retreat in November, so could get a lot done then.
I have 3 crops scheduled for the rest of this year, one for the next three months so my numbers may/should be OK but still may not make my goal for the year which I unofficially put at 200 I think. Like I said, I have not been regular in keeping up with everything this year. Each crop is 3 days although I don't know how many I will get done in September as I have another one starting almost back to back end of Sept then 3rd of October...
Happy day from Slovenia....awesome place. Loved Zagreb too. Back in Croatia in a few days and more than halfway through our trip now. Hope you are all well.
Happy creating jx

Lynn, I happened to see it posted on a Facebook Thread which was listing Local Planner "Groups". It's SUPER fun! We're probably considered a small group, there is 10-15 of us that show up monthly. We went to a set date - 3rd Saturday of each month. We meet at a restaurant that allows us to use their room for free. We usually order though beverage and snacks. It's from 11-130pm. I really enjoy going
You should search Facebook for your area?

I am trying to use my planner to track my health. I have been a real mess this summer. I need to make notes some where so I can figure out why. Yup I can get bad... Spelling becomes hard so I don't do anything. I have tried to create stickers to make it easier...ok didn't sleep
Even MORE exciting .... I finished another Album!! YES! All the pages are scrapped and in the page protectors in the album. I have so many unfinished books, I really wanted to focus this year and actually completing some. This one is Spring 2017.
I had no idea!!
Thank you for the heads up!!
I think I could literally be on the computer all day and still not see/read all the sites I enjoy...quite a few of them I get my inspiration from!!
I now have tabs open to check out the work everyone has done lifting a layout from my gallery.
Thank you Sharon, Sewflake, for leaving a sweet comment on my lift of your page. I apologize for spelling your screen name wrong - corrected it. Are you part of the big crop in Pensacola that is coming up later this year? Someone on SB.com told me about it and I thought of you and the crops you attend. As for you being on the computer all day, we know that can't be so! You sure find time to do beautiful layouts and such a great number of them too. Glad you are here when you are.
Leia, I have a question about your albums. When you said you finished 2017, do you just keep the finished pages stacked somehow or do you actually put them in a book? What kind of books, 3-ring?
Lynn, good idea to keep notes on issues that pertain to your health. And why not keep the notes in a fun and pretty way. Don't worry about spelling, just get something down, that is bound to allow you to recall what was intended.
Hope the rest of you scrappy friends get into something soon.

I will be MIA for a bit. Need to shift back to day. Then help my friend... Her hubby had a quad bypass maybe 8 years ago...well he needs a tune-up and her health is bad. Just hope I can be healthy enough to help

Lynn, you are so good to your friends. Just wish I could be there to do something for you. Sending prayers as you make your shift.
My granddaughter just delivered an eight pound 6 ounce great grand daughter for me to love, cherish and scrap photos of to my heart's content! Thanks be to our loving God that they are both fine!

Yes Joyce, I will be there!!! I have been going to that particular crop for 4 years or so...they have it twice a year. Now the hostess has a shop and crop space where she provides crops just about every weekend!!!
I don't worry about spelling as it is a play on words from my quilting days!
Congratulations on the new addition to your family Joyce!!
If it was not for my grands, I would not have as many subjects to scrap!
