Hello to you all, Kia here with you tonight to get the favorites off and running. I cannot believe that it is almost the end of August ... where has the time gone? But, I readily admit, I am more than ready for some cooler weather.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous faves you have discovered in the SCS Gallery this past week, Sunday, August 19 through Saturday, August 25th. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Do you have a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
Notifying you this week are team members Janine (Jay_Bee), Sabrina (Cook22), Carla (Covington Crafter), Brenda (tessaduck), Kia (kiagc), Shirley (wannabcre8tive) and Angie (ohmypaper!)
To get us started off this week, I have a few to add:
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you. Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card makersSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the Quote button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the Quote button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week. Need help posting your favorites list or thank you? Click the below links for posting tips.
Thanks for getting us started, Kia. I'm ready for cooler weather too! The last couple of days have been below 70, cloudy and a welcome relief. It's been a long hot summer here.

Thank you Kia for starting the thread. Thank you to all the wonderful notifiers for volunteering your time every week to send notifications. We really appreciate you taking the time to notify.
Thank you Nancy for adding my card to your favorites. I really appreciate your sweet comments and being on your incredible list.
So excited to see that Sabrina selected my "New Home" card as a favorite. So honored. And as always thanks to the girls behind the scenes with notifications. This time Kia notified me. Thanks a bunch girls.
I looked in the gallery at the beginning of the week and then decided a complete clean and tidy of my craftroom (all 8 x 7 ft of it) was vital. I started Tuesday and finished yesterday - boy my hands are dry and sore! Now want to paint it so picked up tester pots to try. I did get back to the gallery and have produced both favorites and clean and simple favorites lists.
Kia, thank you so much for including my Bird Lover's Birthday card - always an honour! And thanks, Brenda, for letting me know. It sure brightens up a drizzly grey day!

A crazy week for me. I was hardly home so very little gallery gazing but my eyes are doing better and my finger is back to normal so I am good to go! Here are a few that caught my eye.
Maura and Kia, thank you so much for choosing cards made by me for your lists, and thanks, Brenda, for letting me know - a perfect way to brighten a grey drizzly day!
