Great sketch, using one of my favorites- paper strips! I went with a holiday themed distressed style CAS card, using a pressed leaf, dry embossed, and then brayered with ink. Added my festive paper strips, and called it good!
Here's Holiday Leaf

For my second card, I inked up my trio of teacups image with my markers, did a bit of coloring, and added the strips of paper elements. Kept it CAS otherwise- here's Stacks Up

I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, catching up on some old challenges as well. This sketch challenge being one of the oldest in my group of challenges!
This card design originate around this sketch. I did add a horizontal ribbon & flower with a sentiment flag.
My card is for an SCS friend who's birthday was missed in January and who's May 2019 Teapot Challenge was missed. The theme is "thinking of you" since her birthday was so many weeks ago, and I wanted her to know I was thinking about her on her birthday and after as it became more and more belated! In addition, this theme was an option for her Teapot Challenge as well!
