WT692 - A World of Sponges - (06/14/18)

Hello and Happy Thursday, Friends!


It's time for me to hostess another challenge. Did you know that the World Sponge Conference is held every 3-4 years? We are not talking about the sponge that you scrub your dishes with, but the kind you find in the sea. This follows pretty closely to World Ocean's Day so it makes sense. In honor of the World Sponge Conference, we are going to use sponges (the non-living kind we keep in our craft rooms) or sponging on our cards!

A big thank you to Lisa, Cathy and Carla for helping me out this week with some fabulous projects. Remember to use the keyword, WT692, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creations. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for this challenge HERE.

Need help linking your project? Follow these instructions!

1. Open 2 windows: One window for your project and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your project window. Highlight the address for your project. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

I am playing catch-up challenges! Here is my sponged card: Circa 1860's Vintage Christmas Tree!

I sponge ink distressing on all edges of my card in keeping with its vintage style. I sponged the patterned paper surfaces and the lace for a more aged look.
