Hi Ladies! I'm so excited to be hostessing this week's Sketch Challenge! I thought I'd be really early, but by the looks of the stalking thread, I'm late instead! ;-)
Borrowing the existing REMINDER: Please put SC67 in your keywords box when you upload your card so when it’s typed into the gallery search box - your card will come up with the others. Link only the card for this challenge, not your gallery! Double check your links, the site has been doing some very strange things lately! Reminder – NO uploading on Sunday! If you need help with uploading a card - check the MASTER THREAD
Now for the fun! I absolutely LOVED up4stampin2's (aka Nicki) "Slightly Cracked"....the sentiment especially "cracked me up"!! The opening is in the middle, behind the main image! Too fun!! I went ahead and made mine (which has the image more centered than hers did) so I could post pics that show it opened & closed (they're pending so I'm attaching thumbnails). Mine was an 8.5"x5.5" piece of cardstock, scored at 2 1/8" in on both ends.
Have FUN!! I can't wait to see what you talented bunch of ladies come up with! :-D
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
This looks like fun -- I haven't tried one of these yet, not something I generally think of. Thanks for the challenge, I'll think about while I'm out this morning and see what I come up with!
For some reason I can never see the attached Thumbnails???? Now I won't know what the SC is this week, of course I could wait untl someone uploads one, I'll be at work by then, arrrhhh, someone please help!
Goodmorning! I checked to see what the sketch challenge was today before leaving for work, I have one in my gallery that I can share until I get home tonight and see if I can come up with a new one center fold, bunch-O-bugs card
and the inside of the card so you can see it open is here
I am already wanting to be home again so I can play! Have a good day everyone! ;-)
Good Morning Ladies!
I was up from 3am to 4:30am 'cause I couldn't sleep... No challenge, No One to talk to....
Then I get on here now and there is already cards posted! I guess I'd better get some coffee and get busy.... See ya soon
Gotta get hair thing done too. Then maybe some shopping...then finally maybe a card!!! Can't wait. My brain is off and running with ideas. The DD is already stamping. Darn her. Why can't 12 YO"s drive so that she can do the running around for everyone and I can stay home and stamp!!!!????
I'm a slow riser today and just checking in, oh and I had to answer a PM first too. Great sketch Leslie and I'll get to work after I eat breakfast! Love your photos!
Great sketch, but I have a question. Those of you who have ribbons around your card that run under the main image...do you have to untie the ribbon to open the card?
I am still in a blue and yellow mood from yesterday. I did challenge myself to use a little used set, so pulled out Sketch It from the bottom of the stamp pile!!
I have enjoyed looking at the samples so far and look forward to creating something for the challenge later today. Gotta pay the bills first but first I have to get off this site and get busy!!! Thanks for hosting the challenge and the fun sketch. Have a good day!
Great sketch, thanks for hosting Leslie! I really need to catch up on some of these challenges, but first I need to get the kids some breakfast and me some coffee while I go *ponder*. BBL
