Distress Ink/Momento Ink uses

Hi everyone!
I recently purchased TH Distress Ink mini cubes on sale at Michaels. (I am not talking about Oxide- these are the original Distress Inks. I hear that the Oxides will NEVER come out in mini, which is unfortunate.)
I am probably going to get strung up by my heels for saying this, but... I don�t find where they blend any better than my Momento Inks. I bought them because I had blended so much with my Momentos that they were dry and I was having problems finding ink refills for them. The Momento Inks react to water in the same way that the Distress Inks seem to, plus they stamp beautifully and are alcohol marker safe. Is there anyone out there that has tried the Catherine Pooler inks? I�m a little unsure about the foam pads, although they look (in her YouTube videos) as if they would preform similarly to TH Distress Inks, or Momento Inks. Or, if anyone knows where I can get Momento Refills (in colors other than Tuxedo Black), Id love to be informed!

Maybe not all the colors you're looking for (I don't even know how many there are) but maybe you can find some of what you need.

Catherine Pooler's inks are amazing!!! The colors are vivid and they stamp really well. I don't know how you personally use your TH distress ink pads - but the material of the actual pad is much more durable than the foam pad used in Catherine Pooler's ink pads. What I mean by that is... the TH ink pads work well to distress the edge of a paper if you do direct ink to paper. If you tried that with Catherine Pooler's ink pads, you would like tear/distress the ink pad - doesn't mean it wouldn't work but it would make the ink pad no longer smooth. I don't have a lot of experience with memento ink pads so I cannot compare those with TH or CP.

Thank you everyone for your input (and for not bashing me about not being all gaa-gaa over TH Inks!). For some goofy reason, I never got any notifications about all these comments. UPDATE: I did end up investing in a few CP inks, and I just LOVE them! They blend beautifully, stay wet long enough to emboss, react to water, and seem to do ok with SN coloring as well. Check out the beautiful blend I got straight out of the gate...
