1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10 P. M. EST ON Sunday, July 22nd. 2. You have 1 hour to complete the challenge, unless otherwise noted.....you do not have to count prep time! 3. We have a special gallery for the Staycation VSN. a) From the "Main Gallery" dropdown list on the first page of the uploader, choose Events and Special Collections. b) From the Sub-gallery dropdown list, choose Virtual Stamping and Scrapbooking Nights ~ it's the last in the list. c) From the new sub-gallery dropdown list choose Staycation- it's the very top of the list. 4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. 5. Please do not combine VSN challenges...but you may combine any other challenges with a VSN challenge!

The photo inspiration is the first attachment of all the yummy ice cream toppings! Interpret it how you like!! Tessaduck saw a pattern in the photo, you can check out her sample, I saw circles, you can check out mine too. I haven't had a chance to see what everyone else has created yet but enjoy the photo and let's see where the inspiration takes you!

Yes, I saw patterns and squares. That's just how my brain works! Friends get short with me when I try to explain the patterns I see. Phone numbers. Bathroom tile floors. Seating arrangements.
In Misti's photo, I also saw calories. Guess who's making a habit of eating healthy?! (I refuse to admit that I'm dieting.)
Some folks see colors or theme for inspiration as well.

There is something wonky going on with the site tonight guys, sorry. Misti has gone out of her home in search of better internet connections.
for me the photo is the first one on the left at the bottom of her post. (it is a collection of bowls holding ice cream toppings, so one bowl has raspberries, one has M & M's etc. )
(and edits in the gallery are eating some of the info on mine when i edit so, it may be that I "see" the photo because, I have seen it in staging) I dunno.

I see smiles in odd places. The inside of my toaster openings, my razor, etc. LOL Smiles are what I collect!
When I saw the inspiration photo, the browns and reds instantly stuck out in my brain. I found this scrap of brown DSP and decided to try a masculine card.

Here is my first ever card for the VSN challenges. I thought I would have more time to do these challenges today, but life keeps interferring. The cards I have finished so far are rather quick and simple.
I feel like I need to redo my layout but aside from that, this was so fun. I was thinking about our last trip to a local place that’s been here since the 40s.
