Next month, there will be a new set of creative geniuses who will help to inspire you!
But first...this week's challenge.
We are all pretty familiar with our home state. So, take a look across the border and create a card inspired by a neighboring state! We can't wait to hear where you are all from...and a little bit about the next state (or province, etc) over!
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

As I am from Washington state, Oregon is one of our neighbors- I decided to focus on the lovely parks, trees, and recycling. I got some texture with an embossed wood grain background- comprised of a colorful foil coffee package, along with a button/twine combo and a rough twine bow. The parking receipt was for my friend's electric car- we carpooled of course to the beautiful municipal Rose Gardens and the Japanese Gardens and had a wonderful time Here's Oregon recycled

Here's my card. It took a long time to decide how to represent NM. I usually am so glad to get there when we go to see my family, since it takes about 12 hours just to get to the TX border from where we live on the East side of TX. Land of Enchantment by pvilbaum - at Splitcoaststampers

I'm from Washington and my neighbor state is Oregon. A little research led me to this interesting information: Oregons state insect is the Swallowtail butterfly. In addition, they have instituted several conservation programs to restore the habitat for the Monarch Butterfly in southern Oregon, the Silverspot butterfly along coastal regions, and the Fenders Blue Butterfly, which was thought to be extinct from the 1940 until the late 1980s, in the Willamette Valley. It is an endangered species and every effort is being made to increase their population. My card depicts a butterfly in honor of their butterfly conservation programs: The Loss of a Loved One!
