Demonstrator in Van Buren County, Michigan- anyone out there
I really don't know anyone but my upline and I only get together with her and some other people to do a stamp club once a month. She has a full time job and is busy with her own life. I would like to get to know some other people in my area who enjoy stamping. I can't seem to get into getting parties set up, so I've just been doing alot of swaps. I would really like some other people to talk to and get ideas ect.
Please help out a fellow stamper and possibly new friend!

Hey I am from MI and I know where Van Buren Co is. It is where Kalamazoo is located. I grew up in Charlotte. Would love to stamp with you but I live to far away. I have freinds who stamp in Grand Rapids. That is probably to far away for you though.
I am a little too far away also (North of Grand Rapids) But "Hello" anyway!! I never see me upline, it's been probably a year. Actually, I never even hear from her. Oh-well. Welcome! Your gonna love this place :lol:

I'd love to get together too, but i'm in Ingham County (aka Lansing :( ) I've seen several posts on SCS regarding Michiganders so i'm sure you'll find several stampers in your area. We just have to keep this post seen.

Go to the customer side of the SU website and click on the Find a Demo button, or whatever it is called. You can then input your location and SU will list the five closest demos to you.
If you are someone without a demo, you can do that too!

Hi Marion. I'm from Dorr in Allegan County, not too far from you. We have had a West Michigan get-togther already and will probably have another sometime soon.
Also, if you don't mind driving to Holland at the end of April, there is a GREAT seminar that takes place at Holland Christian High School for any and all demonstrators and potential demonstrators. It's a great way to meet demo's from the surrounding areas. Go to www.klompenstampers.com website to find out more information. Just click on the link for the Holland Spring Seminar. Van Buren County is east of Kalamazoo as I recall (I'm from Kalamazoo). I know there are tons of demos over in that area...wish I were, I'm in Wayne County!

I can't believe the response!
I live in South Havenn near Lacota, Grand Junction, Bangor, Covert.
My parents live in Allegan and I used to work there.
I was with Stampin' Up! years ago then my husbands first wife died at age 30 from complications after recieving a heart transplant (3 years ago). We then got their 2 kids- Tiffaney now 14 1/2 who has been a diabetic since age 9, and Brian now 12 1/2 who was ADHD. Not being a nurse and never dealing with that kind if greaving process was something elce, let alone my two daughters, Skye now 17 and Kristen now 15, having to deal with two more kids in their home and mom having to split her time up more- (being divorced from dad was bad enough). Needless to say I needed some kind of release! Stampin' Up! became it. I had to give it up after a few months but was able to get back in in Oct. of last year, but
wanting some contact with others in my area. This website is a godsend!

Boy I thought that I was doing pretty good and could remember my MI geography. I guess I should have said that it was West of Kalamazoo. OOPS :oops: :oops:

I would love to remain in contact and possibly get together to stamp sometime (the sooner the better for me!)
I'm not to good on the computer, my kids know more than I do on how to do things. I did add your name and e-mail to my address book, but now can't figure how to send an e-mail. I know how to respond to one if sent to me, so posting this is the best I can do for now.
I'm so excited to hear from someone who knows the general area where I live.

I'm in Durand, MI near Lansing/Flint/Howell area. Would LOVE to help plan a get together! I don't have anywhere here to have it, but am happy to help get a MI gathering going - anyone have a location to host one?? I can help with plans for the day, etc.

I'm a pending SU demonstrator (still waiting for my demo #, mailed it in on Wednesday) I just printed the Holland info, I'm in the thumb so that's quite a ways for me to come, but I'm very interested!

It's really great to hear from so many people who also enjoy stamping!
I havn't gotten to many close to me yet.
I mentioned the Holland Seminar to my upline, she's gone before and wants to go again, she said she hasn't read anything about it yet so I had her copy my info from their website. She said she can also do the "shoe box" thing on friday night so I guess I can go both days!
I hope I see some of you there!
