Are you wanting only those that make dies to coordinate with stamps? Lots of stamps, both rubber and photopolymer are made in the US but I have the feeling that very few dies are - even when stamps are produced in the US, the coordinating die set is often made in China.

I wasn't really interested in the dies that go along with stamp sets, as I don't usually buy those. I like the background dies and individual ones.
OK, if you’re interested in just stamps there are loads. Deep Red and Beeswax Stamps spring to mind for natural rubber, many of the big names in clear stamps manufacture in the US as well as smaller producers like Bloom Art Stamps. We can probably give more focused help if we know what kind of things you like - there’s not a lot of point telling you the latest whimsical design from Company X is US produced if you’re a dedicated scenic stamper, for example!
Having toured the Cheery Lynn factory I learned they make many dies for u.s. companies. I was surprised,as were the other gals at the names we saw on the “order”board.
It was interesting to see how dies are made. How much is still done by individual people after the machines have done their part.
Have to admit after seeing this I can better understand the cost of producing those dies.
I'm generally interested in how things work or are manufactured. Where is the Cheery Lynn factory and did you need to do anything special to get to tour the factory? And do they have a factory store? Thank you!

Cheery Lynn is located in Phoenix Arizona. One of the girls in our stamp group called and asked if we could have a tour. The owner conducted the tour which was very thorough.
To the best of our recollection,I don’t believe they have what you would call a store. However we were allowed to choose i item for purchase in their warehouse where there were all kinds of shelves filled with all sizes of dies, with the exception of any new dies which were new introduction not yet released,and we were given a free die as well.
This was perhaps 4 years ago, worth a call if you are in the area which is an older partof the city.

Most small companies' dies are made in the US - big companies like Sizzix/Spellbinders etc. are made in China.
This is mostly true. However, some companies have products made in both places. And Stampendous is a large company but their clear stamps (or as far as I know - the ones I have) are made in the US and are photopolymer. Mama Elephant is photopolymer EXCEPT the ones sold in the box stores through Hampton Art. Those are made in China.
I have some Penny Black clear Mimi sets. All but one set of mine are made in USA/photopolymer. But one set I received that I bought on ebay was not - which was sorely disappointing when it wasn't what I expected. Made me wonder if it was a rip-off or just an older (?) set made there. I have a clear PB hedgehog set and that was made in China. (bought that one through JoAnn online I think.) So that is another big company that may not make all their stamps in the US. Unless they changed or perhaps depending on where it's sold through.
There are some small, independents that have their dies made in China because of the cost and it helps keep the costs down to consumers.
